Quite suprised these are PG-13. Thought the movies would have had an 'R' rating.....although it stands to reason, because all this world cares about nowadays is money. I SAY BRING BACK GOOD MOVIES AND FORGET ABOUT MONEY!!

If only the world worked that way, Algren. Directors think about quality over money (well, some of them). The companies are the ones that will destroy a movie. I think Cursed would have done better with the R-rating. It didn't do good as a PG-13.
Money will always be more important to companies.

I don't know who's the most responsible for the damage of horror movies (or films that are marketed as 'horror') anymore, and I don't want to know at all. No offense, but it's all of our and their faults and responsibilites for every situation situated, especially MPAA, filmmakers, companies, and us moviegoers. No matter who's fault it is the most, it is the fault of us and them for everything that's been dealt with. So go ahead and send me hate messages if you feel like it

I see what you are saying 'want2write', because if we pay for horror films that are rated PG-13, then we are sort of saying "yes please, we want more" .... so it is our fault, indirectly.
But its the studio's fault initially because they are the one's that order the cutting of more voilent scenes.

On the other hand, you can say that it may be our fault for NOT paying tickets for pg-13 horror film, but it's the studios that are to blame for potentially damaged quality that's been done already.
