I really enjoy this movie, and Kate Beckinsale is cute as hell, I own it.
8/10 (B+)

One of my favorite Rom-Coms. Cusack is great and Beckinsale is soooo cute. B+

Okay movie. The leads were charming, the story too constructed and too kitschy. B-

Yeah a very well done romcom, the leads do the right job, a real enjoyable flick. B+

About the only thing I liked about this was Kate Beckinsale, and only to look at. Oh, and Jeremy Piven was likable enough. That's about it. Sappy, melodramatic, heavy-handed and altogether dull. The somewhat-interesting premise was kinda wasted, and there were far too few laughs and too many 'cute' moments. Not how to do a romantic comedy.

Although I'm a fan of ROM-COM's and the leads -- this was the sloppiest, laziest screenplay I've seen in a long time. Good idea, done poorly.

 Re: Serendipity
I watched this today for the first time in quite awhile. It's just too adorable. Kate Beckinsale and John Cusack are both great in it, as are Jeremy Piven. Molly Shannon is hysterical (I love the scene at the golf course). I also like watching it now because Serendipity is pretty much my favorite restaurant in New York City. I go there every time I'm there, though I'm not sure if this was actually filmed there or not.
