 Re: PGA Winners!
That's true, SOCIAL NETWORK still has it locked, but it's still pretty interesting it didn't win this.

 Re: PGA Winners!
That's a shocker, but on the other hand, Little Miss Sunshine won over The Departed, and Moulin Rouge won over both LOTR and A Beautiful Mind. The Social Network still has the upper hand, but the race has certainly gotten more interesting in a hurry, especially since The King's Speech is a virtual lock to win BAFTA. Just imagine if it had won GG, and too bad it isn't eligible for WGA. SAG Ensemble becomes a key indicator now; then again LMS won there too. However, the difference is that Cooper will definitely get nominated for Director, unlike LMS and Moulin Rouge. It's a bigger upset threat for sure.

 Re: PGA Winners!
I don't think TSN is in any danger of losing the BP race due to TKS winning PGA. It's certainly a nice surprise but a little too late to do any damage.
Also SAG will go to The Fighter. That cast is much tighter than TKS's.

Hmm, very interesting turn of events. Not one I like a lot, though.

 Re: PGA Winners!
I think the Golden Globes were such a joke this year that they'll be even less relevant. Imo this PGA win is BIG. The King Speech could very well soon rise to the top of the box office and move toward $100 m over the next few weeks. The Social Network isn't a lock to win the best picture Oscar imo.

 Re: PGA Winners!
Since a producer's job relates most similarly to the CFO or twins characters suing Mark Zuckerberg in The Social Network, or next closest to unflattering portrayal of Justin Timberlake's character, it makes sense that they don't like the movie as much.

 Re: PGA Winners!
Thank you PGA for some common sense in this awards race. Now if only the Director's Guild could surprise as well

 Re: PGA Winners!
Well I think this spells bad news for TSN. Im sensing TKS to win with Fincher taking BD. The momentum is now with TKS.
I havnt seen True Grit, The Fighter or Black Swan yet - but TKS joins TSN (and Inception) in being overpraised, even though I liked both.

 Re: PGA Winners!
If the Weinstein's manage to get King's Speech best picture, imo it would be just as big a win as Shakespeare In Love's upset.
