 Which peripheral contender has the best shot--
--of sneaking into the Best Picture ten, in your opinion? However slim the chance.
The poll is based on the presumption these eleven films are -strong- contenders:

1. The Way Back 2. Blue Valentine 3. Another Year

I'll go with Shutter Island. There's a lot more passion for it in AMPA like peoples than critics. And it's one of those films where the people involved have a lot of friends.

With a score of 79 at BFCA and 6.2 average at RT, I don't see The Way Back making much wave. Blue Valentine looks to be the strongest possibility from reviews point of view, but it may be entering the race too late. Maybe it could be a different film altogether like The Ghost Writer, Animal Kingdom, or Waiting for Superman.
