Re: Most Overrated Movie Of 2010 Inception is overrated in the same way that the first Matrix was overrated: They are both good enjoyable movies that I would recommend, but they're really not all that deep. The ideas in both of those films have been done much better and in more detail in many SF novels and short stories.
I have not seen Social Network yet so can't comment, but it appears that the love of Sorkin's writing may make the film seem better than it really is (if that makes sense). I'm sure I'll enjoy it too, though.
