I was checking out my iphone data usage today because I was curious how it has increased since using the Netflix app and it was neat to see how my data usage exploded from averaging about 300-400 Mbs a month to almost crossing 3 Gbs with 12 days left to go in my cycle.
The whole bandwith issue surely must be phony when they can allow Netflix to stream over 3G.

Re: The Tech thread Verizon and ATT aren't ready to handle widespread data usage on that scale. Once they have their LTE networks ready, they'll be far better equipped.

Re: The Tech thread Short story long... Verizon says I can upgrade one of my Blackberry phone lines, but only Droid they offer for this deal is the Droid 2.
If I want something else, I'll have to wait 3 more months until I can officially get a new contract for both lines, and then can choose whatever model(s) I want.
Is the Droid 2 the best Droid, or should I be waiting the 3 months until I can get a better Droid model?
I figure if the D2 is the best, why wait? If not, I'll be happy to wait.

Re: The Tech thread I think mah fav Androidz fone on the market right nau is the HTC Evo. But it's on Sprint, so like.. nu.
The Samsung Galaxy S stuff is nice. But it's too iPhoney in nature, except Sprint's version of it. But again, Sprint.
I used ta require physical keyboards, because it's just nice to have one really, but now I'm getting over them.

I love the screen. I'm used to the apple system and the access to the apps. enjoy it as an ipod and for Netflix. I have encountered that attennae issue at times but it's not frequent. I enjoyed my free bumper but it doesn't mix with the zagg skin I have on the back unfortunately so I have to go without it for now. I live in a good signal area for ATT so that's no issue and I love the style of it and I just don't think I can go to something else anymore. Like I can't go back to a pre-smartphone. Impossible.
