Re: Predict Best Animated Movie 2010 contenders Well, Toy Story 3 and How to Train Your Dragon are locks. I prefer the latter, but think the former will get more attention. I haven't seen Despicable Me. Are there going to be 3 or 5 nominees? I can't see LOTG, Tangled, or Shrek getting nominated over Despicable Me. The only mainstream upset I could see is Megamind. I think it looks fun and the animation sharp. We'll see.

1. Toy Story 3
2. How To Train Your Dragon
3. Tangled
4. Despicable Me
5. The Ilussionist.
No way does LOTG gets in at this point, and Shre 4 won't either. Megamind has some shot, but no way are all 5 big movies. Either Tangled failr or Megamind just beats DM. The Ilusionist is my current projeccted small film but there certainly is moving room there.
