Thegun wrote: If you consider Cameron Diaz still makes 20 million despite almost never headlining any successful films, Julia Roberts and her caliber of actress is quite the bargain. Roberts still aligns herself with talented directors, costars, and doesn't really need to headline as much as she used to. Cameron Diaz no longer commands $20 million a film. She was paid $10 million for KNIGHT & DAY. The only actress who has received $20 for a film recently was Angelina Jolie for SALT. Reese Witherspoon is next at $15 million.

 Re: Weekend Actuals
Meryl and Sandra are by far the biggest draws among women. I mean, really.

 Re: Weekend Actuals
Maybe Roberts can rebound with the help of Tom Hanks, as she'll be co-starring with him next in Larry Crowne, written and directed by Hanks. Hanks wrote it with Nia Vardalos, who wrote and starred in the dreadfully overrated and now forgotten My Big Fat Greek Wedding.

 Re: Weekend Actuals
The only reason Jolie isn't on that list is because she doesn't make 3 films a year. And why should she, when she's getting 20 mil a pop?

 Re: Weekend Actuals
Why isn't Meryl Streep on the list? She should be getting a big paycheck. She's probably the most consistent female draw.
