 INCEPTION -50% 2nd Weekend Drop Club.. I originally had predicted 34 Million for the 2nd weekend, but then I saw the Cinemascore Grade of being a "B" with a Poll citing that older adults had given it that grade and that indicates to me that the older audience will say fuck this for the 2nd weekend cause they found it boring, thus taking a substantial chunk out of the 2nd weekend which is what this movie was supposed to be geared toward: ADULTS.. Not only that, but another movie is coming out with SALT and that will give INCEPTION a run for it's $$$..
My New revised prediction for the 2nd weekend:
30 Million for the 2nd weekend..

I can't read BKB's posts, but it seems he's claiming that Predators has already made its money back. I've never seen hard figures, but the general rule cited by various box office sources is 50% domestically goes to the studio, and less WW, I've heard anything from 40% to 48% or so. In all actuality Predators should need about 122m to make a profit. A number I doubt it will reach in theaters.

According to Box Office Mojo, the average is actually 55%, not 60% as I stated (though I think that's domestic, not worldwide). Given that average, I'm sure it can get as low as 40%, at least domestically. In some cases, though, studios can get a little over 70% of the worldwide gross (i.e. Star Trek). I don't have insider information for Predators, though, so I have no idea how much money its studios gets back; if its the average 55%, then Predators will need to get $100m, which it should be able to do.
