Let me say something about the bad reviews for TLA. The ****ing racebenders have been actively trying to ruin this movie's success.

On June 18th these dumbnuts encouraged everyone following their "movement" to flood every single critic that submits a review to Rotten Tomatoes.

This is so evident by almost every review mentioning these exact same e-mails.



Basically every lame brain white apologist gave the movie a bad review for that reason. Lets not kid ourselves every critic became sheep and decided to just follow the word that this production was "racist".

I'm willing to bet this would have turned out far different if the main cast were all of east asian descent (at least critically).

Its funny how reverse racism works because so many have noted how "ridiculous" it is for white/indian/latino people living in an "asian" inspired world demerits the entire movie.

Well, the casting is awful regardless.

I agree. But I liked the concept of different cultures representing different nations. The Indian/Middle east/Latino being fire nation in my opinion was a cool choice. earth nation as chinese/koreans/phillipino, water nation as European/american, air benders mixed race

racebending.com was launched because there were no asians cast in the movie. What these dumbfucks don't get is that India is part of Asia. Asians are not just people with tiny eyes.

The main reason seems to be that the film is typical M. Night Shyamalan crap. My favorite: "I believe M. Night can ruin the world."

Ladiesman is really going ballistic. He hasnt been that way since Dragonball's failure. Both movies and shows were moronic concepts of kung fu prodigies squirting stuff out of their hands. Ebert summed it best that somethings are better left in animated format because it blends it better with it. Its not like you can make Fantasia into a live action flick

If you actually read the reviews you'll see that most of them never mention the races at all, and instead point out how dull, incomprehensible, and idiotic the film is.

I'd really like to know what Shyamalan was thinking. It'd be one thing if they were even good actors, but by all accounts they're godawful.

Cast the good guys white & the bad guys dark.

You haven't watched the show have you??? Not everyone in the fire nation is bad. Zuko may be bad in 1st season, but in 2nd season he is neutral and by 3rd he is a good guy. Uncle Iroh is also a good guy in the movie. So casting darker actors in those roles wasn't racist at all.

It would have turned out differently, but it'd be hard to tell because if they cast it right in the first place, it would have meant the filmmakers gave a damn about what they were making.

And actually, South Asians are more relates to Whites than East Asians. (Hence, "Caucasian"). White's are actually a mutant offshoot of Indo-Iranians.

I know all about the show. I'm talking about the cast for the movie.

It doesn't matter what color you are if you act like a robot. Actually, that's insulting to robots.

Momo gets about a minute total (and is never named), Appa gets about 2.

There is one funny moment, just one.

And all the names are mispronounced like Ung, Suuka, and Eeroh.

In the fan reaction video Libs posted, a guy said the Kyoshi warriors aren't even in the movie.

Even worse, apparently M Night did film scenes with the Kyoshi warriors, but cut them out cause they don't appear in the final battle at the North Pole..........
