Last post as I am off to the bar.

Big deal Lecter, you butt-head.

I mis-spoke - you want it straight - your post of the laughing and applause icons were just as bad.

If someone laughs at a joke, they are just as bad as the joke teller.

and getting this back on the subject.

Sorry, blow jobs may constitute sex to some but it does not constitute anything thats connected to conception.

if you have sex with a girl without a condom, you're both responsible.
If you have sex with a girl with, you still must bear the consequences.

But if it was never your intention to conceive in the first place and:
a) Your condom is purposely damaged, hell, you should have the rights to sue the person. Its not just about not having the responsibilities, its a whole lot more.
b) If your sperm is purposely stolen without your knowledge for use in things that you had not agreed to, you should have all the right to sue them for it. Hell, this is just ridiculus.

By the way Dolce. The whole getting tested thing. its not something thats degrading to women. If you consider it is, then include the men as well. In all the people i've ever known, i know of so many women who have actually sent their potential boyfriends to clinics for check ups before having sex with them, its not funny and its pretty unbelievable. Dont know of a single guy whos ever asked teh same back.

Also a page back, I had a nice go round with Dolce. In essense, there is a big difference on how men and women think.

To Dolce - I respect women but I don't think they are sugar and spice and everything nice.

No bABA. Getting checked for std's is not a precaution specific to one gender or one habit. Everyone should get tested and offer to get tested before having a relationship. Its also ok when you start dating a girl to have a serious discussion about her desires and intentions for entering the situation. The parallel doesn't hold. Its more like if the girl asked the guy to get tested every week before they had sex and grilled him continuously about having slept with five girls since their last meeting. That's pretty degrading to a guy that a woman should consitently assume he thinks with his penis and is careless and inconsiderate even when he has done nothing to warrant that assumption. That is much more in tune with what regular degredation treating condoms after sex would be akin to. I would really love to hear what any one of the other women on these boards would think to the idea of waking up everymorning to find tobasco sauce in all of last nights condoms on a regular basis. That speaks miles about what the guy must think of her. I would say the same thing of course, to women that regularly harass their guys about sleeping around and go to such extreme measurments and surveillance, weekly testing, and I can't even think of what elese because I wouldn't do that kind of stuff.

Asking someone when a relationship first begins to get tested, and offering to do so yourself is mutual respect and a necessary precaution. To continue along that route after the fact means there are some serious issues in the relationship.

I wasn't actually refering to the tobasco sauce incident .. i honestly thought that your comments were in reference to Goldie saying "get the girl checked" .. oops i'm sorry.

Though i still dont think tobasco sauce is a bad idea on the one night stand thing .. hehehehehe ... though i am still half kidding.

Another thing

Ever here of the saying about a women scorn.

-----------

And when I made the statement as a general statement - like Baba said maybe one night stands - I was just pointing it out something that no one ever seems to have thought of.

-------------

Lastly so what is the point in the realionship that you can trust the girl that you are with?

1st date
1st week
2nd week
3rd week
4th week
Etc.

What about if you are breaking up with a long time girl - who thinks you cheated her out of her life or one that wants a baby when you don't ( Even lying about birth control)

So when can guys trust the girl?

Its dependant on the relationship. But again, if you start off a relationship with distrust, don't be expecting it to go on for too long : )

One problem is you don't know the distrust in the other person?

Until you are sure - better safe than sorry.

Like bABA, said, and my bad, I thought you realized what I was reffering to. I might not have been clear.

1. The girl would not be under false pretext unless you had not made it clear you didn't want the relationship to go further (what's this lost life stuff).

2. If you're worried about her using birth control, just put a goddamn condom on. That's being safe. You expect a girl to alter her entire chemical, hormonal, and emotional stae regularly so that you can be even free-er in your actions and not even wear a rubber? That's something you need to deal with. If you're getting ready to pull out of a relationship, have already spoken about it, and you know she's upset, the question should be why she should keep taking those pills for you in the first place. Want to make sure the break-up sex is that perfect for you huh? Sorry, I still don't buy it. One night stands are one night stands. If you engtage in that kind of activity it comes with an entire set of issues, pregnany only being one of them. You take that risk for that lifestyle, and if you're going to try and micromanage it, than perhaps you shouldn't be considering it in the first place.

And I want to make myself clear that I do not agree with what the woman in the original article did. However, he also lied throughout their four month tryst and said he would leave his wife for her, etc. So lets not pretend it was some innocent loving guy who just stumbled into the unfortunate dark world of extramarital affairs. The entire pretext and conduct of both people in the situation already lacked one ounce of trust or mutual consideration.
