Xia, our sites reported that russian blockbuster "Black Lightning" opened last week on 350 screens in China. Have you heard anything about it and how much it grossed?

Not a great opening for The Karate Kid considering the setting and the star...

Re: China Box Office (The Karate Kid and Toy Story 3)
Aftershock will receive largest theatrical release in modern historyQuote: To be released on 22 July across China, the film will hit up to 4,000 theatres. The majority of these will be on China’s burgeoning digital cinema circuit.
“We are absolutely comfortable discussing a figure of 3,500 screens, but are not yet sure of the final figure. It could reach 4,000,” said Felice Bee (畢斐甯), spokesperson for Huayi Brothers (華誼兄弟), which produced the film and is co-distributing it. “It seems that nobody wants to release against us.”
...
The previous widest release in China was Confucius (孔子) which hit 2,560 screens in January – the artificially inflated screen count was intended to match the number of years since the sage’s birth. Holy crap if that is true. This is going to be a blockbuster in China. I can't wait to see the numbers that come from this.

The first set of numbers I saw from China showed Knight & Day was No. 2 behind Triple Tap for the full last week. It may have had a better weekend though (it opened on Tuesday).
