 Re: Toy Story on RT
Armond White should be removed from RT's critics.

Does anyone else want this to be the first weekend in history to have one 100% release and one 0% release? Because Jonah Hex is at 0% ATM. Jonah is up to a whopping 4%. But for Toy Story -- has any other film received such high scores before?

Man on Wire is at 100% from 142 reviews, so yeah.

 Re: Toy Story on RT
Right now its 3rd on the all-time list after Toy Story 2 and Man on Wire. TS3 has a slightly better average rating than those, though.

It will be really interesting to see how Cars 2 and Monsters Inc. 2 do with their reviews. Obviously TS films work for Pixar, but can they repeat their sequel magic with those?

 Re: Toy Story on RT
Yeah thats what I was thinking. I suspect they'll make at least 80% of the originals at worst case. Should do better though.

109/109 with a 8.8/10 average.
Still behind Man on Wire and Toy Story 2 in number of reviews but ahead of them in the average grade.

Comedic side note: I heard that some people thought Monsters vs. Aliens was a sequel to Monsters Inc. (This was from one crowd report from one theater.)

I have a feeling Cars 2 will be the worst-reviewed Pixar release ever.

Yeah but if I remember, they came out before RT was online, and don't represent as large of a sampling. With RT, when there is a "tie" the one which has the most reviews counts higher. EDIT: Just checked -- 1 has 70 reviews, 2 has 147 so I guess I'm wrong!

 Re: Toy Story on RT
Soulless cretin Cole Smithey has given the film its first negative review. I eagerly await the multitude of angry comments.
Edit: Second, apparently, as Armond White's predictably negative review was posted above mine.

White's review will knock it down to 98% shortly. Oh boy.
It can still go up to 99% with, though.

Well White is an idiot, so him bashing it doesn't surprise me. I was surprised by the other one, but he did like Marmaduke which most critics hated.

There'll probably be three negatives, I'd guess.

LOL, Cole Smithey's review has 64 comments already, Armond White's has 25.

 Re: Toy Story on RT
In other news, Armond White, in his review of Jonah Hex (and I quote):
"So, although Jonah Hex doesn’t effervesce like Neveldine & Taylor’s own avant-garde innovations, Crank and Crank: High Voltage, Hayward yet makes it pell-mell; it’s still got N&T’s anarchic spirit. That alone makes Jonah Hex the best movie to open this week—easily overshadowing Toy Story 3."
lol I feel like he just does this on purpose at this point

Classy. That's what Tyler accused me of but of course he won't peep a word now coz Libs is pro Toy Story.
