$245 million after the weekend.

Should be at around 700,000 admissions in Germany after its second weekend (first one got 801,738 in total). That's pretty much the same as Wolverine had after two weeks (albeit coming off a worse second weekend). That went on to finish with 1,008,520 admissions, so I expect around the same for Iron Man 2.

Are you sure that they didn't mean only Paramount Territories?

Must be wrong as the German tally (not a Paramount territory) is 5.9m Euro = $7.3m and the Austrian tally (not a PAramount territory) is 1m Euro = $1.3m

New number - $284,811,000

It will easily cruise past $300 million overseas.

Probably...but only just. I don't expect Japan to do much more than $5m, if at all.

The first did about 9 though, I dont see why it would drop off that much, will most likely go a little higher. And it made about 15 million in China. Id say it has a good chance to hit 295-300 with holdovers, then another 30 million from Japan and China.

Films that disappoint in Japan tend to have a habit of generating sequels that do considerably worse. This is how the sequels faired in 2009:

Hollywood Sequels released in Japan in 2009

HBP: $88.5m [ +0.1% ]
Angels and Demons: $34.2m [ -57% ]
Terminator Salvation: $33.9m [ -50% ]
Transformers 2: $22.7m [ -34% ]
Quantum of Solace: $21.7m [ +14% ]
Night at the Museum 2: $21.5m [ -28% ]
Fast and Furious: $10.2m [ +22% ]
Madagascar 2: $10.1m [ -50% ]
X-men Origins: $9.3m [ -28% ]
Transporter 3: $6.08m [ +220% ]
New Moon: $1.93m [ -24% ]
Ice Age 3: $1.28m [ -86% ] (already fallen 51% from the first, 92% in 2 movies)
Saw 6: $1.26m [ -57% ]
Hellboy 2: $0.812m [ +45% ]
Pink Panther 2: $0.172m [ -89% ]

09 is not a good comparison though as they went through a sharp decline, and apparently Iron Man has gotten very popular in Japan since the last one. We shall see though.
