 Re: Iron Man 2
Once again proof that you haven't seen the movie as anyone who has seen it (Madgez, be.redy, etc) can answer to that question.
Btw, in the movie you never see RDJ wearing boxers or shorts. We find out that he secretly wears Pepper's underwear after sniffing it.

Dumbass, you have no proof that you saw the movie EITHER other than piecing together other peoples review from other sites to make your own.. You've had it out for this movie since day 1 and that's what your so called "Review" reads like... Secretly wearing a chicks underwear was something you dug up elsewhere Price so can it.. Your the true definition of an EPIC FAIL..
Also, after seeing this, all the so called negative reviews, reviews like the one Price posts are TDK fans who don't want to see this movie beat TDK weekend record and for that, TOO BAD.. Price, you didn't see this either and you know it.. I've at least got the radio staion passes I won to back it up..

Jackson walk on cameo like this and TIH, He looked like he rolled out of bed, slapped his eye patch on and pretty much phoned his lines in, plus a haircut wouldn't of been so bad either.. I enjoyed seeing the campus footage from TIH and as a fan, I can't imagine who wouldn't enjoy this.. Perhaps that's why critics scoff at stuff like this is cause there just not fans and don't get "IT"..

http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/apps/pbc ... 09987/10233 out of 4 stars for EBERT, but for the love of god, the nitpick at the end of his review is probably as bad, if not, MORE than alot of other critic nitpicks I've seen for this movie.. One thing is for certain: This deserves to be higher than 69% at RT.. That's blatant bullshit right there considering both IRONMAN and it's sequel are in the same story arc.. Quote: which started me to wondering how the guys survive inside those suits. Sure, the suits are armored, but their bodies aren't. How many dizzying falls and brutal blows and sneaky explosions can you survive without breaking every bone in your body? Just asking'. At the end of a long day, those suits should be filled with bloody pulp. Suspension of disbelief perhaps???

OK, another try: When the scene that your animated avatar shows happens, what is Justin Hammer doing and where? And please, no mention of TDK, Hulk, Iron man 1 or Elm Street in your reply. Also, if you want me to prove that I have seen the movie, just ask me about certain scenes in the movie. If you fail, I will ask Lecter to change your name to BFLB.

Luckily I keep my theater tickets. Unfortunately I went to see IM2 in a single screen theater and they don't print out the name of the movie on their tickets. I'd post a picture of it, but BKB wouldn't believe it anyway even if it had Iron Man 2 printed on it.

I'm through with you for the simple fact that anyone can answer what scenes were in the movie like your implying by googling it or looking at other reviews Price which is pretty much like your review.. Now, moving right along since your on the dump button now..

 Re: Iron Man 2
I give it a B or B+, where I would have given the first a B+ or A-.
It's a fun movie, it's probably more entertaining than the first because there is an obvious attempt, and success, at more laughs, but overall not as good as the first movie. By the way, the crowd at this midnight show was geekier than most superhero midnight shows I've been to, and this showed with CA's shield (very funny!) and the scene after the credits. HUGE pops from the audience!

HUGE pops from the audience! This movie deserves to be much higher on the RT meter than 70%.. It's very entertaining, but fans are fickle I guess and I would also call into question whether some of thoser reviews at RT are actually negative and not RT being selective in the reviews to put the movie down and they are noted for doing that..

 Re: Iron Man 2
Saw the two films back-to-back, and the sequel pales in comparison. I was engaged throughout in the first Iron Man, but felt bored for the second one. Too few actions until the last 1/3 (the Monaco sequence was lame), and the party/after-party scene reminded me of the bar scene in Spider-Man 3 with Peter Parker, which is not good. Most jokes fell flat and were not memorable. I could really only recommend the final part. C.

Please.

Im growing concerned by these "lack of actions" claims...the same problem plagued Spiderman 2 and left me bummed...

We saw it coming together almost piece by piece and later Stark giving it a more modern design etc. But IM2 is full with these deus ex machina devices, and the briefcase suit is one of the lamer ones.

 Re: Iron Man 2
Yeah, this rocked.
First one was better, though. But this holds its own. And it handles the multiple characters very well. Downey delivered hilarious lines one after another, Sam Rockwell was AWESOME, Rourke was badass, Scarlett Johannson was too much to handle, etc.
Yes, most of the action is in the last third. But I was never bored.

 Re: Iron Man 2
Iron Man was not a masterpiece, but it was a nimble and well-crafted superhero film. The inferior sequel replaces the first's light touch with an overburdened, but thin plot and an underdeveloped cast of characters.
Reprising the part-time billionaire inventor/part-time iron-clad superhero role which revived his career, Robert Downey Jr. delivers an admirable, energetic performance, but his charm cannot overcome the sea of cinematic flaws in which he is adrift. The fact his every other one-liner is stale does not help. Googling her? "I thought I was ogling her!"
"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." I wish Jon Favreau and screenwriter Justin Theroux had been mindful of George Santayana's words for the problems which befall this film are not fresh or unique. Past superhero duds, such as, say, Batman & Robin and Spider-Man 3, failed for the same reasons: an emphasis on bombast and frenzied complication over common sense, a fixation with more! new! now! (more new characters! more subplots!), etc.
To be fair, Favreau and Theroux do have a couple original bad ideas: for example, an inebriated Iron Man vs. War Machine fistfight set to "Another One Bites the Dust" by Queen. The scene is destructive and loud, but serves no point beyond providing the dull-exposition-laden second act with an artificial dose of adrenaline and mayhem. Don Cheadle, by the way, delivers a rare poor performance. Replacing Terrence Howard as Lt. Col. Rhodes/War Machine, Cheadle seems ill at ease and bored.
I admit, the film is not without merit. The final 30 minutes, while standard-issue summer action fare, are diverting. Gwyneth Paltrow remains a charming presence as love interest/cunning businesswoman Pepper Potts and the always dynamic Sam Rockwell has clear fun portraying vile, but incompetent new villain Justin Hammer. He goes over-the-top, but in a calculated, intelligent way and there is a genuine sense of fun to his performance, which is M.I.A. in most every other part of the disappointing Iron Man 2.

Rock-solid crowd pleaser with just enough emotion and depth to like the primary characters, and also a quite hilarious film as well. Some scenes (most with Sam Rockwell) are over the top, but it doesnt matter. This isnt trying to be the Dark Knight, its trying to be Iron Man. Its meant to often be tongue in cheek.
