Re: Yahoo Review Thread - 2009
Orphan is looking like a $4.5-5.0m day based on the reviews, so no major breakout like I hoped.

Just for kicks guesses before the estimates: G-Force - $9m The Ugly Truth - $7m Orphan - $4.5m My boss says I get $20 if any of these are spot on.

The Ugly Truth will almost definitely be higher than that, if my theater was indicative. I'd guess about $9-10M for today. Could be wrong, though.

I was thinking a ratio of 50, but it was lower than that. Apparently I get $5 for almost getting Orphan correct.

D9 is looking a big ratio considering it already has 622 ratings. it could have > 2K at this rate. Would that ensure a early teens OD.

Re: Yahoo Review Thread - 2009
Based on the totals so far, I see District 9 definitely over $10m for the day (possibly $12m). Time Traveler's Wife looks to be about $8m or so - below tracking.

TTTW did decent at my theater but not 30 million good. I do not understand why people lost there minds when they saw MTC tracking. MTC has been off for weeks.

Does not look like much for anything, but i do not know how to read these numbers. I would have though IB would have more reviews by this time of day.

Re: Yahoo Review Thread - 2009
IB only has 105 reviews at this hour? It will either have a record-low ratio or really disappoint this weekend.
Shorts, Post-Grad, and X-Games 3D are also posting terrible counts. None of those are a surprise, though.

Does school starting usually significantly dampen Yahoo activity this time of year?

Re: Yahoo Review Thread - 2009
I haven't followed Yahoo in a while, but does it make a difference that it has 131 written reviews? I find it weird that it has the same number of votes and written reviews.
