i followed the link. the red weed looks well done, but that was a pretty bad article. for starters, "the war of the worlds" was written about forty years after darwin's "origin of species". saying that wells "emerged at a time when Darwin's theories of evolution were emerging into the public scene" is like claiming that independence day was part of the moon landings craze. plus, i'm not sure what the [sic] after "intentionally or accidentally" is meant to mean.
irrelevent, i'm sure, but i'm in a pedantic mood
