and almost famous as well. awesome job guys.

i hate these weeks where derby average is so high.

anyway i had awesome month and managed to keep xiayun off and win the month. :D

And Congrats on the great month! :)

Not complaining about my own start, although I'm having a weird pattern of only doing well every three weeks.

Well, I finished strong, but I had a horrible month. I missed week 1
and had weekly ranks of 92, 224, 127, and 13. Currently sitting at #12 on the
all time accuracy after 44 games. My goal is to get back to the top 5.
Hopefully I can build off this solid week. Superbowl could make things tricky
though.

You're doing great, SolC9! :-D

39th/40th this week
10th/11th for Jan 2010
3rd/5th all time (134/155 games)

My personal goal each week is to just score above my avg score (84.04%) and my avg rank (66.6).
Team goal... well, to win as much as possible, mainly the yearly race.

Would be interesting if they are changing it up on purpose - I haven't seen them do that before on a 4 day.

Thanks! Ha, Ryu, you're right. I have not been consistent at all lately because of my busier weeks. Every other week it seems like I'l only have 5 minutes to do my predictions. Luckily this week I had more time.

Congrats on 3rd, Casey. Very nice, Gopher, too. And well, pretty much all the regular KJers, nearly all of us are in the top 50.

11/12 this week for us.

Thanks. It's a rare occasion when actuals actually give us a boost.

Congrats to you, Scottie, and Keyser, too.

The average this year has been insane. I think it will eventually come back toward the norm, but I'm not sure if 85% will be enough to win the year as it did in the past.

wow. Another week the derby is on steroids. Congrats omni/corpse,scott and xiayun.

Average scores are really high. If I am not wrong average scores during summer tends to be on the higher side as well. So we could see the yearly winner in 86-87 range.

I think the main reason is that most openers have been predictable. Once we start to have multiple openers behaving in not so predictable manner derby scores will come down.

This week derby average will go down. Avatar alone is sufficient. Plus both the openers will have a broad range. Also higher alice opens bigger the drops for some of the holdovers.
