Joel Silver Says Kim Basinger is WONDER WOMAN: Do You Care??
http://www.moviehole.net/news/5123.html
Ok, right off the bat: Yay or Nay for a WONDER WOMAN Movie??? DC is so desperate to get back on top in line with MARVEL, but MARVEL will always be the BEST hands down, so why would Josh Whedon even waste his time much less Kim Basinger's time with this???

actually, even beil is in the running.
and i think both marvel and dc are stupid. you think wonderwoman is a bad idea? (it is actually). Marvel line up of movies right now is unbelievable and they'll kill the comic genre completely.

If you are going to go with an older cactress, Bullock is a much better choice then Basinger.

Bullock is laughable. I say Kate Beckinsale...but then, she could most likely use her talents better.

Bullock is to little and skinny to play WW.WW is an attractive woman who also looks tough.
I say get an unknown actress to play the part.

I agree with hans, dont make the movie. Hollywood sure do not learn lessons very well.

Kim Basinger is way too old to play Wonder Woman considering shes now in her 50s. I also heard Biel is in the running too and she would be a better choice than Basinger. I would like to see someone like Bridget Moyanan from I Robot and the Recruit play Wonder Woman considering shes around the same height and build as her

Personally though, I'd rather see a Green Lantern movie before Wonder Woman anyday.

depends if they go with Hal Jordon or Kyle Rayner. Hell, I have a feeling they're gonna try capitalizing on JL's animation success and instead go with John Stewart .. yea .. its true.

I would pray that I looked as good as Kim does at 51, but she is indeed too old for Wonder Woman. I don't have any desire to see that film anyway. What does she do? I've never read her comics, but she has those bracelets, an invisible jet, and her magic rope. That doesn't sound very exciting at all. Is there more to her character?

If Lauren Graham were cast as Wonder Woman I'd definitely be looking forward to it. But since it's highly unlikely she will be I don't really care. I will still see it though, most likely on DVD.

Charisma Carpenter. She would make an excellent Wonder Woman.

I like John Stewart JL style, he's rocking a Sam Jackson vibe.

Joel "The bar is so high there is no bar" Silver is known for talking nonsense, no? They'll most likely go with an unknown, and Wonder Woman has to have certain characteristics, she can't just be an average gal. Lynda Carter was a big girl. Tall and curvy, with large breasts. Those are WW's defining characteristics. She has to be an amazon, which is what Wonder Woman is. Lucy Lawless would have been good 10 years ago, with breast implants. She's the prototype image they would have to go with, not just some girl who's hot like Angelina Jolie or somebody. The kind of girl who stands out in a crowd and looks like she could kick your ass if you got out of line. Athletic, at least 5'9", but 5'10"-6'0" would be even better, and a nice rack. 38D or so. That's who Wonder Woman is.
