Staying with the seventh weekend, Fox’s juggernaut added $8.2m in Germany from 693 for $106.7m after a 9% drop; $7.9m in the UK from 745 screens for $104.6m after a 7% drop; and $3.4m in Russia from 419 for $101.2m after a 30% drop.

I wish the U.S were as impressive

A bit more detail on total cumes:

Combined with the $594.5m North American tally, Avatar currently stands at $2.044bn nda swept past $100m in Germany, the UK and Russia, as it had previously done in France and China.

http://www.screendaily.com/news/distrib ... 48.article

And:

The foreign total stands at $1.45 billion after a $95 million weekend from 120 countries. It remained No. 1 in many of them, including France (sales to date: $134 million), China ($126 million), Australia ($84 million) and Brazil ($43 million).

Never thought that $60m in Australia would be broken so easily, this is just mind blowing.

France : $134,670,144
China: $127,597,457
Germany: $106,507,804
United Kingdom and Ireland and Malta: $105,706,880
Russia - CIS: $101,828,370
Japan: $92,113,354
South Korea: $88,510,801

Taiwan: $23,557,354

France passes Titanic at 129 million and should end up well over 170+ million.
China is heading to perhaps 200 million
Germany gross will easily beat Titanic at 129 million and could go higher!!!
UK is looking to Mamma Mia in USD even with the exchange rate change.
Russia has slowed down
Japan is a rock and looks like avatar will be heading to 140 million and a all time gross which is amazing as films do poorly there now.
South Korea is beyond words, it will end the highest attended film perhaps!!
Australia marches to 100 million
Spain should end near 95+ million (doubling the all time gross)
Italy looks headed to 100 million!!!
Brazil is headed to 50 million which is good.
Mexico, avatar beats Spiderman 3 and should beat Ice Age 3!!
Taiwan, Titanic will fall there!!!

India's gross is huge considering now Avatar has crossed 100 cr which is a all time top 10 gross for all films!!

Ya. I thought it had beaten 2012 in India but i was wrong. 2012 did like $28 million in India. It would have done more if 3 idiots wasn't so fucking huge. Anyways still bloody amazing due to 2 reasons

1) James Cameron's highest grossing film in India.
2) 2nd highest grossing hollywood film of all time

China's total is awesome. And if they didn't pull it from cienmas...there's no knowing how much it could gross more.

Looks like $26,515,983 added for Monday and Tuesdays gross for a Foreign total of $1,473,505,276, and a WW total now at $2,074,646,827.

Divide $26,515,983 by two for Monday and Tuesday and you get an average gross of $13,257,992. Down from about $16 million flat last week in dailies. Pretty impressive.

Domestic: $601,142,000 29.0%
+ Foreign: $1,473,548,945 71.0%
= Worldwide: $2,074,690,945

should be going in with around 2.1 billion in the weekend and be around 2.21 billion by the end of it.

I have a feeling, Camerone looks at night and the numbers and does a evil laugh, because when I see these numbers it makes me laugh at the craziness. :funny: :funny: :funny:

My projections...

Domestic: $750,000,000
Foreign: $1,950,000,000
= $2,700,000,000 :noway: :noway:

Looking at its Foreign total it will be past 1.7 billion overseas and 675 million domestic by Presidents Day.. :funny: :funny:

These numbers are going to just look crazy in the coming weeks.
