 Re: ASC Nominations
Could very well be the Oscar lineup for Cinematography.

 Re: ASC Nominations
Yup...though I think Deakins might sitll make it with A Serious Man, replacing Beebe for Nine.

 Re: ASC Nominations
Hmm good nominations though I haven't seen "The White Ribbon".
I think if there are changes then it could be either Nine of White Ribbon.

 Re: ASC Nominations
White Ribbon is not getting snubbed. Black-and-white film in a war setting with excellent reviews, that's golden for a cinematography nom. Nine is really the only weak link, although I could see Avatar missing if the branch feels stingy about CGI.

 Re: ASC Nominations
Hmm.....true but I guess academy will be trying to give Avatar nominations but will not give it much trophies. White Ribbon as I said I don't know much but it being a Foreign film the nominations are hard to come. Though I could be wrong here

A Serious Man given Deakins' history.

The White Ribbon won this.
Wow, now that's a surprise!

Darn it that is a big surprise. Though I think Academy could also go for the same winner.
