No. And like usual, why don't you ask yourself the same question, if other people feel differently? Biggest bloody hypocrite on this board and I don't give a fuck as much as you to deal with it, it doesn't affect me in any way. I was asking/wondering how it's doing so well since it's obviously not that great, key word: that.

 Re: Avatar (INTL.) - $1.335bn Worldwide (#2)
Why are we insulting people for a movie. And if someone thinks that the movie is not good then please check your sources, there is no way that a movie survives 4-5 weeks on top worldwide. In a month we have 1000's of movies releasing worldwide. To hold your grip one week is still easy but for a whole month is next to impossible if it is not good. An for the sake of arguing we should not be comparing one movie to another even Action movies like ROTK and TDK to Avatar that just makes things worse. They are different movies by different people and by far cannot be compared. Just because now we like Avatar does not mean the others were not great but the same goes the other way around as well, if you like a movie that cannot be the end of the world there will be movies that should be given chance to compete otherwise life becomes dull and boring. So enjoy the success with the tide and do not comment on any person no matter how bad one may look with his/her choices

Yeah, i take back the "clown", that was uncalled for. I try to be a good fanboy but it's difficult sometimes in the face of all the "haterz" *wink, wink* here.

To take back takes more courage than to let out things, you did that with me once as well but you were gracious then as well Hopefully now we will have people not replying to this as gay and all the crap but try to be nice and polite with a healthier discussion "h8rs"

And anyway in bold, that really doesn't say anything, DMC grossed a billion and a lot of people didn't like it (I did).

 Re: Avatar (INTL.) - $1.335bn Worldwide (#2)
Avatar has passed 1.5M admission this weekend so that means that it made more than 280k adm on 3rd weekend which would mean less than 15% drop!!! And with such a terrible weather we had for the whole weekend Full numbers will be released tomorrow.

Why is Malta grouped with the UK and Ireland? So random...Gibraltar I'd understand, but Malta?

Also, why is Australia's gross so much greater? We have 1.5x Australia's population...

Ticket prices perhaps. For instance, I believe xiayun said theaters in China raised Avatar's 3D and/or IMAX tickets to $26 USD during the week. I'm sure they vary greatly.

Well when I was in Aus in 2004, the ticket price was like 12 dollars to watch a film.

I think ihope posted in his Hong Kong thread Imax was a whopping 160% more or something than a normal 2D ticket, while 3D was 60% more.
