 SONY takeover = ROCKY VI possibility!!! 
"On Dennis Miller tonight (Thursday), Sly had a great interview with Dennis Miller. Dennis was very respectable towards Sly, asking about his magazine, Rocky VI, The Contender, etc, etc.
Sly confirmed that since Sony bought MGM, Sony is now interested in making Rocky VI and it looks good! Dennis was very supporting towards Sly to make it, and the audience cheered very loudly!
Awesome interview, Awesome! He looks to be in incredible shape (as usual)"

Rocky VI will be a good film, probaby not Oscar worthy or anything that amazing, butit think it will be brilliant to see Sly back on the big screen kicking ass..... :wink:

Rocky is a series thats famous for basically taking a good idea and what could have been a classic film and stretching it out....ALOT

Rocky 5 dragged on a little bit too much, i see no reason for Sly to try and correct that mistake.

That's why I still technically like it but rocky V sucked so much. IV is still good but it could have been so much better with the material given.

Rocky IV is amazing! Pure excellence of the cinema.
@Michael..no i didnt hit my head :wink: but Rocky V was not brilliant...you have to look at it logically....thats why Rocky Vi needs to be made.

I'm going to make a wild prediction -- Rocky will lose a fight, or somehow get his ass kicked, within the first 40 minutes of film, and then come back to defeat the man who beat him before.

Just a hunch. Yes except I'd add that to stay popular with trendy academy types, at the end he'll pull the heart machine plug out of the wall in the hospital room of the guy he defeats, since he wasn't really living anyway.
