 About Firefox...
What is it? I'm sure this topic has been killed here, but I just realized that this program, Firefox, existed. It's being talked about, but I seriously don't have any idea what it is. I'm currently a user of MyIE2. Is it better than that? What are the differences?
HELP!

It's a really nice web browser. It's more secure than IE, and it's customizable because it's open source. I'm sure some of the bigger Firefox nerds could help you out more with why it rules (Krem), but just give it a shot.

Zing, I've never used MyIE2, but I did try MyIE once and it was ad-supported so I didn't like that. It did have tabs, from what I recall, and so does Firefox, and that is one of the best features in it. Just give it a try, and see how you like it for yourself.

I'm currently using it right now to type this post. So far, it's kind of... odd. I don't know, maybe I'm just not used to the look. And, I don't know if it's just me, but does it take some time to load this site?

You'll get used to it, Zing and it is much better than IE. Most of all, it is SAFER.

Haha! I found it!
Thanks, Krem.
A few questions.
1. When I click on a link, it opens up another Firefox window. Is there any way to set it so that it opens links in the same window but on a new tab?
2. When I start up Firefox, it gave me a "we cannot load yahoo.com, please try again later". I don't know what that was about.
3. What's the easiest theme to use?

1. Either middle-click on the link, or hold Ctrl and left-click on the link
2. no idea, sorry. try again later?
3. I use the default theme, it's pretty easy to use. Never used a different one, but give it a try by all means - you might find something pretty to look at.

You can also go to Tools, Options, Advanced, Tabbed Browsing if you want that setting to be permanent.
I like Firefox. Like the look, the layout, the tabs, and a couple other little things (the 'find' feature is a lot nicer than IE's).

Firefox is so much better than IE. I especially love the search function which is pure genious. Too bad we have a Mac at work that is not compatible with it yet
