I hope Monsters vs. Aliens/Ice Age 3D doesn't sneak in and steal Fox/Ponyo's nominations. It'd be realllly cool if something offbeat like Mary and Max or A Town Called Panic got nominated, but I'm just stoked on a year that includes Fox/Coraline/Cloudy/Up/A Christmas Carol.

So signs haven't been great for Cloudy so far...which I find very surprising as it has the reviews and the box-office.

Any other year it would have been a lock, but this year is very strong. It's actually lacking in the review department when compared to the others. Metacritic only here:

Up - 88 (19 100's out of 37)
Ponyo - 86 (9 100's out of 26)
Fantastic Mr. Fox - 83 (6 100's out of 33),
Coraline - 80 (8 100's out of 38)
Princess and the Frog - 73 (4 100's out of 28)
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs - 66 (0 100's out of 24)
