 Re: Wednesday numbers
The Blind Side is unbelievable! It's per theater avg is up 64.3% from last Wednesday! Fantastic for New Moon too. It's per theater avg is up 85.4% from last Wednesday! Avatar keeps chugging along. It's now Fox's third biggest non-SW film ever! The fourth weekend imo is critical. That's when we'll know with a high likeliness if Avatar will sweep past Titanic. The third weekend is still influenced by the holiday...$500 m + is a given though... Oh, btw, December box office is now at $995,640,342 (that's not including the daily #'s that Mojo hasn't put up yet)! It will be the biggest December ever and the first $1 billion December ever!!

Avatar isn't even playing at any of the Smithsonian theaters this weekend. What's up with that? They still have Night at the Museum II playing!?! Are all IMAX's not set up with 3D screens? I have no idea what Avatar is doing today. Seems like it should drop since it is not a kids movie, but it sort of qualifies as a romantic movie and those are the adult movies that tend to increase on NYE. Time to just sit back and enjoy the ride.

 Re: Wednesday numbers
I'm seeing this Saturday. So will many others. Cameron's showing Spielberg, Lucas, Precious Peter Jackson, and Micheal Bay, how to do it. He's officially the top guy!
