I just got back from my second viewing, and I'm going to say right now that this movie is about to fucking explode.

The theatre was absolutely packed, and throughout the entire film there was this electricity in the air that I have never experienced in a movie theatre and, with all due respect, it wasn't because the movie's main star had died a few months previous.

As for the film itself, it's actually better on the second viewing, because some of the bits that seem tedious on the first viewing, like Sigourney Weaver's death or the legend of how only five people have ridden "Last Shadow", capture your attention the second time around because you recognize how important they are to the plot.

James Cameron is indeed The King of the World.

Well to be honest, the $533 m gross was definitely influenced by that. But even if that didn't happen, TDK could have still pulled a Shrek 2 and done $400 m.

The Dark Knight was a really fucking good movie. If it was all about Ledger dying, it would have dropped to shit after it's opening.

I'm also of the opinion that the effect of ledgers death was minimal, might of brought some business opening wk but everything after that was pure WOM

Whoa.

Been lurking on this site for years but have hardly ever posted. Live and learn I guess.

I am genuinely sorry for anyone who I ruined the film for. :disgust:
