It's been a while since the last announcement as I turned out to be busier than expected. Nevertheless, I spent some time observing different posters to decide who'd be a good addition to the team. We've been a bit short on manpower ever since the administration change. During the weeks following that event the boards were rather calm and quiet sothere was not much need for a lot of people, however as time went by the activity on the boards increased again thankfully and in particular routine tasks like creating new thread in the Critics forum, deleting double posts, merging threads and so on has become more and more work.

So a bit over a week ago I contacted a couple of posters about a moderating position here and while not everyone accepted (which I can understand given that it does put you in a different position as a poster and, in a way, might limit your behavior a little). Thankfully two posters accepted and those were the two who I had very high on my list of potential candidates even a long while ago.

Thereofre, please welcome MG Casey and The Dark Shape to our moderating team. Those two have proven themselves to be very level-headed, fair and showed the tendency to stay out of big fights. They pretty much never lose their temper. After a long time of dramas and shitstorms I have witnessed here I think they are just the right folks for the job. I appreciate that they agreed to join the team and wish them all the best of luck!

I've never had a modering position before, but I'll be open and fair with what actions I might take. We are all here because our love for movies and my primary goal is to make sure everyone can do that in a place where you won't be attacked.

I was a mod at illkillallyoumotherfuckers.com. The board lost members due to reasons I'd prefer not to go into at the present time.

As yoshue already mentioned - he's no longer a mod. I talked to him and he admitted that he lacks the time to fulfil his moderating duties.

Also I think he's happier not being a mod and thus more free in his actions

I take over his burden.
