From your list I'd pick Cary Grant, but there were many others I'd vote for.

Good choice from his comedies - His Girl Friday and Bring Up Baby to his many other movie roles including his Hitchcock movies.

Just a great leading man for about 40 years in the movies.

Of his comedies, ARSENIC AND OLD LACE is my absolute favorite. He was simply wonderful in so many different roles.

Since there are only 10 spots, you can see that I did the actors - even though I needed about 25 polling lines.

So on the actress, I didn't want to mix them up.

But you are welcome to mention your favorite actresses here.

The Maltese Falcon stands out for me as his pivotal role, i love it more than any of his.

African Queen and Casablanca, i did not like too much, tbh i havent seen much of them, but what i have seen did ot impress me at all.

He did one about a boat, and he is a Captain, a grumpy one, but he dies....or gets repremanded by his staff and there is a courtcase, very good movie.

Yes on Bogart, the Maltese Falcon was a classic role.

And I think the boat movie you mentioned at the end was the African Queen.

And the other movie was the Caine Mutiny with a great role by Bogart and a good performance with Fred MacMurray as an cowardly officer.

Yes KH is considered one. I think she has the female Oscar winner the most times.

Mine might be Audrey Hepburn.

Then others would include - off the top of my head.

Lauren Bacall
Lucielle Ball
Jean Authur
Marilyn Monroe
Rita Hayworth
Marlene Dietrich
Myrna Loy
Loretta Young
Gene Tierney
Jean Simmons
