For me, Elektra for starters. At least, Catwomen could be laughed at but I really didn't like this movie.

I just couldn't get into that movie. JG was brooding the whole movie.

And I don't know why people are talking about the fights. Did she ever whip anyone.

- One guy has a tree land on him.
- One guy gets stabbed on the roof though the ceiling.
- One guy gets a knife from her on the ground.
- The tattoo guy gets his neck snapped sitting on the ground.
- The women gets killedkicked with a thrown knife

To me there just wasn't any highlights - just boring - what was the screenwriter thinking.

Noone will agree with me ... but the Manchurian Candidate should be in here. Denzel was nothing great ... just his normal self ... and everyone else was awful.

The scene between Streep and her son in some kind of odd misplaced sexual connotation was just embaressingly bad. I thought the movie was horrible.

^ I don't think Manchurian Candidate/Catwoman will be nominated for the 2006 Razzies as they're 2004 films.
I have seen 0 films from 2005 so no comment.

Yes that is true, but the above are an easy mistake as this is a first time thread I started this. It is just a continuing thread for performances seen in 2005 that are bad enough for the Razzies in 2006.

Any other picks for possible 2006 Razzies on movies you have seen?

Maybe Uwe Boll for worst director but his reputation is only heard of in the internet community so he would be too unknown to be nominated. Yes Alone in the Dark was that bad

Im sure people will add Son of the Mask and Jamie Kennedy to this razzie list soon since its in release

It was intentional, that sexual tension.

Spider-Man 2 isn't a 2005 film... Plus, even if it was going to be released this year it would never get a nomination at the Razzies....

Son of the Mask could be a possibility.

BOOGEYMAN will EASILY be a top contender. And even though I loved it expect THE RING TWO to get quite a few nods as well :(

Well often the worst films of the year aren't nominated (this is the only reason that I can think of as to why ENVY and WELCOME TO MOOSEPORT were shut out last year). Most of the films nominated are those that get reputations for being bad (like CATWOMAN and ALEXANDER). That's why I think that THE RING TWO, ALONE IN THE DARK and ELEKTRA are all probably locks for next year.
