 Administration Change
As many of you now know, Torrino resigned from the position of administrator as of Sunday, September 27th. His resignation brings about the end of my attempt at democratic elections for the forum. The process was created with good intentions, but foul and flawed logic doomed it from the start. I apologize to all of you, and to Torrino for what followed.
I now turn to a new admin, someone who has been here from the start, and someone I have the utmost confidence in: Dr. Lecter.
I've said it many times, the life of an admin is a thankless, hard job. A job I wish on no one, but have had the misfortune of bestowing on many. I owe Lecter many thanks for even agreeing to the position, just as I owe many thanks to all that have come before him.
Lecter, best of luck.

 Re: Administration Change
Lecter, good luck, just don't be hard on yourself if the results remain the same, which I suspect they will. I see no way to fix this mess. Sorry.

 Re: Administration Change
DR. LECTER?
AHAHAHHA.
Ok. Well, there's no one left, I guess.
Why didn't you just give it to a spambot? Or the Google bot.
Anyway, it doesn't matter, since admins do nothing.

 Re: Administration Change
It's a great choice. The choice that should have been made in June, not an election.
Lecter doesn't involve himself in the heavily cliquey side of KJ, which Torri Spelling did. He was obviously biased towards those he disliked in his acts as admin (which his own mods have agreed about) and baited and made fun of the userbase of KJ. And multiple times tried to get people to leave it in favor of his own forum. Just an ultimately bad choice.
I just want to say to you, Lecter; everyone likes a flame war. Don't get uppity when one occurs. It's not like anyone's gonna die. Except maybe Never Been Kissed.

 Re: Administration Change
Right now they are still the same. I am willing to keep everyone who wants to stay a mod a mod, but it appears that some want to step down out of time issues which is very understandable. So there will be new mods. Who? I'll have to think about it. Obviously this whole thing is pretty sudden.

Probably the best choice possible given the situation.

Why can't we have MikeQ? He ran for this bloody office.
This forum is so anti-semitic.

 Re: Administration Change
You know, now that you mention it, Never Been Kissed...
Dr. Lecter, a German, was actually the mad scientist behind the backlash against Torri Spelling. KJ kind of had its own little holocaust yesterday.

So, there's still a slight hope for KJ after all.
(I am surprised Dr. Lecter has the time though...)

 Re: Administration Change
I think Lecter is a good choice. Congrats! Maybe things will be looking up now. Didn't like the way the boards were going, recently, to be honest. Someone should send loyal the memo.
