will this ever end. Just spill the beans already. Danke. I like ROTK : ) G-Force and I Love You, Beth Cooper. As a couple of posters mentioned here already - it makes little sense for me to watch films that are already released in Germany or would be released shortly after my return. Now that's not the reason why I saw G-Force, though. We arrived at the theatre and G-Force was the only film playing without us having to wait 90+ minutes for the next showing of anything else (and that would have been pretty late too). So we decided to see G-Force...I was hoping that the 3D at least would make it kinda bearable. I was wrong, though. What a waste of time. I Love You, Beth Cooper was one of those I was mildly interested in, but didn't plan on seeing. However, similar to G-Force it fit the schedule better than, say, The Hangover and The Ugly Truth. I could have opted for a few others, but most of them wee about to be released in Germany anyway, so we went for this one. And in all honesty - would you really expect me to start a contest if it were not difficult? Of course it wouldn't have been some obvious choices like The Hurt Locker or The Hangover. One of the reasons why I started this was that, looking back now, those four films were quite an odd array of films to watch. For me at least.

ILYBC was actually okay. G-Force...oh my. It makes Alvin and the Chipmunks and Scooby Doo seem solid.

If anyone guesses the four films that I have seen during my US stay correctly...well...um...then you get a free DVD (or two)! Everyone has one try. The only info I'll give to you is that all those films were released in theatres this year (so no older films).
Bring it on!
DEADLINE: Sunday, August 16th
You may edit your post until then. ***** MY REVIEW....Not Difficult but IMO Almost Impossible (Unless the above said, well there were 2 movies that I wouldn't have seen but they were the only ones that I didn't have to wait 90 + minutes to see) and I would offer up the prize somewhere else as this contest sucked......including the way it was dragged out after everyone was so far off. SUCKERS for being pulled in, IMO! Not Good or Cool? ********************* like ROTK : ) G-Force and I Love You, Beth Cooper. Re: Which four films have I seen? Closed!
It was all possible. All these films were released July 2009, so I haven't quite seen anything exotic.

Truthfully I don't read alot of your stuff ...but was it based on your viewing habits and what you talk about....so I looked at the following....and based on stuff like this, I would never have expected you to pick the movies you saw, IMO! ********************** Your Most Anticipated Films this September You know the drill Mine are: 1. Gamer 2. Extract 3. The Informant! 4. Pandorum 5. Bright Star Splice would be high up there, but I doubt it will actually get released... All in all, this is a surprisingly good line-up for a September! ********************************* August.... You know the drill. Mine are: 1. District 9 2. The Final Destination 3. Inglorious Basterds ************************************

Exactly! But those who know me well enough know that I watch pretty much anything. And making this contest indicating that it wouldn't be some usual batch.
Anyway, I don't even know why I am actually discussing this.

Re: Which four films have I seen? Closed!
It's his game, it seemed fair, I don't see the issue, Grill. Just because he saw I Love You, Beth Cooper doesn't make this unfair. There weren't THAT many choices anyway; it almost had to be something released in June/July. No one guessed even 3/4. Dragging it out was annoying and anti-climatic, though.

Re: Which four films have I seen? Closed!
I did it because it was simply too funny that eve after revealing al those stuff it probably still would have taken ages till anyone mentioned Beth Cooper.
Really, though, when I go to the US the #1 criteria for picking films is usually their release date in Germany.

You definitely need to do this contest again on your next visit to the US, and I'll remember to pick the most ridiculous movies possible . If you go in December, Alvin & The Chipmunks: The Squeakuel will be a sure-thing .
