By the way - the most important thing I wrote in this thread was that I planned on seeing some of those films and that I did not plan to see some others (combined with the "I watch a lot of movies"-statement) : ) I bet I'm one of them. Well, I'm 1 for 4 so far...

Re: Which four films have I seen? Closed!
I also haven't seen:
Public Enemies
Why? Because it was released in Germany while I was in the States...why would I necessarily see a film in the States that I can see when I get back home? Besides a friend of mine in ermany wanted to watch that with me as well potentially, so I decided to wait.
The Hangover
Why? Same reason as above. I actually saw it a few days after I came back. Though admittedly I was tempted to see it in the States.
G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra
Why? Well, basically I only had one day to se it because it was released on Friday and I left on Saturday and on the last day we had better stuff to do than going to theatres. Besides, it just came out here this Friday.
: )

I've only missed 1 so far (HP) I still think he saw 500 days and hurt locker, and probably saw orphan too.

Re: Which four films have I seen? Closed!
I think one film he definitely saw is The Ugly Truth (or The Proposal). Fills that "some I didn't want to see", he was with his g/f and maybe they're not playing in Germany yet.

Re: Which four films have I seen? Closed!
Other films I have not seen:
The Proposal
Why? It came out in Germany while I was in the US and my girlfriend wants to see it with her friend, so...
Orphan
Why? It is playing at the fantasy Film Festival next week anyway and I have the Festival pass this year, so I basically have paid for this film already. I'll see it there.

Re: Which four films have I seen? Closed!
Movie almost everyone got right:
(500) Days of Summer
Yup. I planned to see this. I did see this. Was very good that's all.
Movie almost everyone got wrong:
The Hurt Locker
First: no way in hell my girlfriend would watch an Iraq war-based film. Second, as Juring has said earlier in this thread...it came out here this Thursday. I did want to see it, but Sarah wouldn't be convinced to do so. Moreover, it played only at one out of the three theatres we went to.
Which, I think leads to the inevitable conclusion:
No one actually has won this game

Well, what were the four films?
I still think I got the other two wrong, though, lol.

Re: Which four films have I seen? Closed!
Neither Whatever Works nor Cheri were showing at those theatres. I wanted to see Up, but I want to see it in 3D first which was not possible anywhere anymore while I was there, so I'll wait. Well, in fact no one even got THREE of the four films I have seen. And not only that, but only ONE single person got two of the four films correctly. Congrats there, Zing! He named The Ugly Truth and (500) Days of Summer (both films I actually planned on seeing). I also planned to see a film on IMAX (Harry Potter I suppose because I wouldn't put myself through TF2 again...however I did have a chance to see Star Trek on IMAX as well...it was still playing at the Kennedy Space Center - but I decided to do something else) and to see The Hurt Locker (which I missed due to reasons stated above). The two unplanned films were the ones no one guessed (can't blame anyone, though). Any idea?

Re: Which four films have I seen? Closed!
Well, I thought my reasons for Cheri and Whatever Works were pretty good...right?
Maybe you saw "The Collector" or "G-Force." I'm sure you didn't want to see either of those.
Or is it perhaps an independent film? "Moon," "Every Little Step," "My Life in Ruins," or "I Hate Valentine's Day," perhaps?

Yay, suck it bitches
So I'm guessing the other two are things like G-Force, Aliens in the Attic, I Love You Beth Cooper, My Sister's Keeper (I just remembered this existed, I think I should've guessed this) or Year One (hopefully not)?

Pelham and Drag Me to Hell were also still playing, but I doubt it's one of those.

trixster wrote: you cheater lecter Why? I would have even given out a consolation prize had anyone guessed at least three, but even that did not happen. Oh and Zingaling is still pretty good at it afterall. He named both remaining films in his post above. @JuringWhy should I insist on watching something I can easily see when I get back anyway? Frankly, only one of the four films I have seen, I really did dislike (but I expected that going in anyway). And my main clue was when I said that I watch a lot of films. By that I meant that I also end up watching films that I even expect not to be any good...
