also, if you go throughout the forum and look during the time Lect created this thread, he also commented in other threads on several summer films.

To which theater did you go if you did go to the movies in Miami? Sunset Place?

Now that question, Loyal, I will not reply to.
And just so you know. While I did spend most of my time in Orlando and Miami I have also ventured outside the two cities for a bit.

Dr. Lecter wrote: Now that question, Loyal, I will not reply to. What question is that? The one about the theater? If it was at Sunset Place, just 24 days separated us from meeting. The last movie I saw there was UP (3D) the 25th of June.

Oh and I saw two films in Orlando and two in Miami. At three different theatres altogether.

BTW, as you might have noticed I have not announced the DVDs yet. That's because I'll allow the winner to pick the DVDs himself/herself (up to a certain price limit - no I'm not buying someone the entire collection of The Wire, heh).

You probably should have just had us PM you our predicts. That would have been more fun and you likely would have seen a wider variety of answers. It's too late now though.

So far - - only MadGez, ChipMunky, and Groaning have a shot at Lecter's prize - - they're the only ones who have included T:ROTF on their lists...

Why the hell would he waste his time seeing it here when he could easily see it back home? If it were me, I'd want to concentrate on movies that won't be released for the longest time. Besides, who says anyone will get all four correct?

But I'll stand by my theory, due to Lecter's wording earlier in this thread...

Well you all have time until tomorrow midnight (PST). Reading through the comments in this threads some are closer than others (D'uh) while some are completely off.

Re: Which four films have I seen? Guess and win DVDs!
Before the winner is announced you can (if you have time) post some data like so and so people got 0, 1, 2,3 or all 4 right, to create a lil bit of suspense.

I think I'll start off by posting which films I have not seen...a few surprises there I think.

Re: Which four films have I seen? Deadline tonight!
Is it too late for me to predict? I'm in the EST zone, so I'm assuming PST is one hour behind...? MST is three hours behind, and the other is two...right? EDIT: Aha! Eastern, Central, Pacific, Mountain.

Re: Which four films have I seen? Deadline tonight!
I don't think you saw Transformers 2...because it came out the same day in the US as it did in Germany....even with the "those were four differen films" clue)
Harry Potter 4 (because it just opened that weekend)
Whatever Works ("Do with this statement whatever you want" aka "do whatever works for you"...?)
Cheri (maybe because it's in English but has a Foreign name...hence the Foreign Language post...?)
(500) Days of Summer (because there's 500 days of summer...and he was in the US for 3 weeks and saw 4 movies or whatever...?)
I just don't think all 4 were independent films, though. Well, I tried. What the heck?

Okay, let's see. I've gotta run now, but I'll post a few films I actually have not seen.

Re: Which four films have I seen? Deadline tonight!
I haven't seen these films in the US because I have seen them BEFORE my trip actually:
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
Bruno
I really wanted to watch a film in an IMAX-theatre while I was there so I almost ended up seeing Harry Potter again, but for a few reasons it didn't work out. Ah well, no IMAX for me.

Re: Which four films have I seen? Deadline tonight!
Also, only three people in this thread got zero movies right.
By the way - the most important thing I wrote in this thread was that I planned on seeing some of those films and that I did not plan to see some others (combined with the "I watch a lot of movies"-statement) : )
