He's behind his normal pace I believe

I think he is, which means I am really behind considering I think I have only see about 50 so far...

As long as something in them interests me, I'll see them. But to be quite honest, all of the films I've seen so far I've had some sort of interest in WITH two exceptions. The only reason why I saw G-Force was because it was double-billed with Potter at a Drive-In which I only get a chance to go to once a year. The other is Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. I got dragged along to see that, but as luck would have it the film was nowhere as bad as I thought it was going to be.

Everything else came at my own discretion. That and Netflix's Watch Now option has contributed to about ten films on the list. No matter what though, at no point while I post here will you see Bandslam on my list.



You bastard.

I'm actually ahead, at least compared to last year. Exactly one year ago today I had seen 49 2008 releases. Again, that Watch Now option has allowed me to see films that I normally wouldn't see (Donkey Punch, Gigantic, Incendiary - Gee, they all really paid off) and I'm Netflixing a lot more. That and my area has seen a lot more independent films come our way compared to recent years. The Hurt Locker, In the Loop, and Ponyo are all within about 25 minutes of me. Ponyo most likely would've been anyway because it's in 800 theaters, but the other two wouldn't have been a year or so ago.

Might as well go ahead and make it 54.
