We still need to decide on a show date, and I also wanted to remind all presenters to get their speeches written , and send them to me as soon as you can. I think I'm the only one that has 6 nominees to present.

I'll do "Best Song" if that's ok.
Oh, and question: I didn't get my nomination ballot in on time, does that mean I am excluded from voting?

No, you are more than welcome to vote.
I'll put the 3 of you down for your respective categories.

Out of the major nominees, the only ones I haven't seen are:
Million Dollar Baby
Garden State
Maria Full of Grace
Hotel Rwanda
Doesn't seem likely that I'll get to see the last three, but I'll try to get M$B

So, is the whole "My god, HOW did that get nominated" mess over with? That really annoyed me last night, guys. I did not nominate The Aviator for much, if at all (must check again), but if I did, I sure as hell wouldn't want some sore losers telling me I'm wrong about my choices. Did it occur to anyone it was nominated on its own merit for some people? Does it occur to anyone that SOME liked it? Obviously not.

I won't vote until I see Sideways (which I'm seeing later today), The Aviator (to see why the hell it got 13 nominations), and Closer (because it seems interesting). Oh, and The Motorcycle Diaries (so I can nominate it for Best Foreign Film, possibly).

well, since there are no instructions here, I assume we can all vote for as many of the nominees per category as we want, right?

Already done! (I knew it was only one vote per category, I was just seeing if it was OK to stuff the ballot box!)

love the nominees for the most part. Very surprised that Collateral beat out Sideways for the best picture nom, but it's a good surprise. Only robbery for the most part is John Heder not being in breakout star, Napoleon Dynamite was awesome.
