Argos, do you like the work of Friedrich Dürrenmatt? 'Die Physiker' and 'Der Verdacht' (especially the latter) are probably (It's hard to tell..) my favorite books.

I also like "Der Richter und sein Henker", but its sequel "Der Verdacht" is far superior. You should read it, I think you'd like it.
