Re: Tнε Lαтεsнσω -- Iт Gσεs Tнεяε!
Today I went to a fair out of town with one of my friends. On the way, we stop at her old abandoned house that she and her mom have slowly been getting things out of for over a year now. The saltwater fish tank was quite amazing. A year of no care, and there are still living things in the water. Anyway, we head to her room to gather a few items before she leaves for college again next month, and we stumble upon her old pokemon cards. We used to collect, trade, and battle each other back when we were 10. So we take em and head back to my house so I can get mine too. She has the original, japanese holofoil fossil edition Dragonite, the base set 1 Charizard, and the neo Feraligatr (120HP version). Soooo gotta get the Feraligatr and Dragonite (not possible to get the Charizard).
So the nosalgia resulted in us going to the fair all poke'd up. Me in my I Choose You Pikachu shirt and pokeball hat (wish I had a pokeball to toss at people I knew there); her in a 151 hoodie and Mew messenger bag. Quite a bit more colorful than all the plaid going on tonight.
The Bonny Barn was awesome. Has anyone ever seen a Lionhead Rabbit? Possibly the cutest things ever, almost: The mini rex boonies, eng spot mix, nz/cali mix, and angora rabbits were also all interesting. We were there for nearly an hour just talking about them with one of the workers who seemed taken aback we knew a good bit about them and eventually began talking about them more than us.
The Hog, Horse, and Goat Barns weren't nearly as interesting. Though the Poultry Barn had some funky looking birds (afro chickens), took some pic of them.
