Re: WoKJ Admin Election - The Winner
Congrats, torrino. Thanks everyone who voted, I knew it was going to be close due to running a new campaign and getting the new posters more involved with the site, so I'm happy it was pretty close and see it as a good sign since it continues to grow and none of that was why the campaign lost, so that worked.

Re: WoKJ Admin Election - The Winner
Congrats, Torrino! It's going to be a little weird to see Argos as "The Man"... the person he's always fighting. My guess is he won't like his new position, as he enjoys sticking it to the man. So, I'm opening the pool for how long Argos lasts as Moderator. I give him 36 days from the start until he intentionally does something to be demodded and banned.

Re: WoKJ Admin Election - The Winner
I don't think it'll be that short. Typically new admins are slow to the draw. They're not battle tested yet, and put up with more shit. Plus, they don't want to come off as dictatorial quite yet. It takes at least a month of drama and dealing with crap before they break down and start kicking ass and quit worrying about what people think.
So, it's not that Argos won't do something ban worthy in 12 hours, it's that the mod/admin staff will screw around trying to vote, talk about it, try to work out the problem for at least a few weeks until they crack.
Since they invited this piece of drama, it might be kind of fun to watch.
