I wonder why you like these songs...is it cuz Kris performed one and hand-selected the other for Allison?

Haha believe it or not, that's just a coincidence...I love that CD and those songs specifically. The fact that they performed them on the show only confirms that they are awesome people.
I've been a huge MJ fan forever, give me some credit Torrino.

Re: Michael Jackson dies at 50 after cardiac arrest
^Word.
I was just youtubing his 30th anniversary concert THIS AFTERNOON; watching it for the first time in years.
Quote:
A. What is your favorite MJ album?
B. What is your favorite MJ song?
C. What is your favorite MJ video?
A. Bad is awesome, but anybody not saying Thriller is lying. Dangerous is pretty damn good too.
B. Billie Jean no doubt, my fave song of all time. HM to The way you make me feel, dirty diana, black or white, beat it, bad, smothe criminal, dangerous, remember the time...so many good ones.
C. He has a lot of good ones; remember the time had Eddie Murphy and magic Johnson in it; Black or White has Macauly Culkin...but I am going to go with BLACK OR WHITE...it justs an awesome video and the only one I can remember actually seeing on TV that I liked it.

The biopic could be amazing.
A lock for Best Makeup at the Oscars, too, assuming they only use one actor for the role.
RIP

Clever.
But the biopic will be amazing; you just know after he dies we'll get real footage of the reactions currently happening set to one of his Jackson 5 Ballads...itll be quite the tearjeker indeed.

Gary, Indiana has announced they are putting all flags in the city half staff for a week to honor Michael Jackson.
I dunno if that's going too far, but he's getting now equal treatment as a President or a Pope who died.

RIP. Even though I was more into classic rock and eventually alternative growing up, I still loved listening to his music growing up. His vocals and harmonies were off the charts. It's still crazy to think he's gone.
A) Has to be Thriller, though I really liked Dangerous for some reason.
B) Beat It. Such a wonderful mixture of pop and light rock with a great guitar solo that meshes perfectly with Jackson's voice.
C) Interestingly enough I loved Scream as a video when it came out and still love it. That would be my favorite video to watch. However, nothings beats the experience of watching Thriller the first time with friends.

*sigh* I'm still really sad about this. Between Jacko and Farrah, this was a pretty crappy day on the whole.

You just don't have an ounce of class, huh? I always thought you were an idiot who tried to act as if you were above everyone, but you are obvious nothing but a fucking retard, and who doesn't know that now? Class is not something you can fake. You either have it or you don't, and you most certainly don't.
RIP Michael Jackson. I was not a fan of his after he become nutty, but that's sad, regardless. 50 years old is much too young to die.

As far as icons in the industry, I would agree. Madonna is probably 4th.

Heck, that's tons more than we have to suggest OJ murdered his wife, and nobody thinks he's innocent, do they?
With OJ we had DNA, bad alibis a glove and most importantly a guiloty verdict in a civil case. You have one criminal trial with an acquittal and a case that settled. You had a witness claim he molested Macualy Caulkin and other children who all denied it. The child was the son of the Maid. The maid also knew what Michael's penis looked like. Only 2 children I am aware ever laid the claim that he was innappropiate and it was there parents who made the claim. The mother also contradicted herself. The first case was civil if it was what they said why didn't they go criminal.....If you have a criminal verdict it is a slam dunk civil verdict. Whereas if you just want money you go civil and hope. No doubt the guy was weird nto a doubt in my mind about that. It is also possible but I think unlikely that he was guilty.
I have worked on enough trials to know that a settlement in civil court means nothing. It can be about saving money, bad press or both.
I would love to debate court proceedings, the level of guilt required for civil vs. criminal, and looking at the totality of all the circumstances and multiple cases (MJ) vs. a singular court trial/case (OJ), but we're going to get way off track here.
I don't want to derail the celebration of MJ, as I said a few pages back. Perhaps after this has died down in a few days we can debate the court cases and how they work. As for now, I'm going to slip into bed with a young boy, share some Jesus juice with him, and let him see my penis, in honor of MJ. I'm confident most will just see that as a little weird, nothing more, nothing less.
