Yes, though he didn't pick you until after you were eliminated is what I'm saying. And yes, he may not have before because you could have made the top 3 and be considered a candidate, but he still didn't choose you until later on.

Your forum behavior though Argos doesn't change no matter when you were chosen by Torrino. Which is what I'm most curious about, is it simply because he likes you? You've been banned as much as goldie by now I think.

Yes. I like Argos, same with Christian, but I couldn't have chosen them based on past forum behavior. Argos with his harassing of users, spamming, etc. and being warned and baned many times, I don't think just 6 months is nearly long enough to determine whether or not he's taking things seriously now. And Christian because of the IP situation late last year, and close relationships with many forum members. And while it was blown way out of control, I personally would have to eliminate him from my choices since I wanted new, fresh users as my team.

I've asked torrino why he chose them knowing this, or at least, what he thinks of their past actions here AT KJ, but I haven't received a response yet. It's one of the questions Im going to ask in detail.

He did not choose me, especially not in the beginning, because I was his opponent.

Finally, as I said in this very thread, Magnus approached me about the Argos choice, and the other moderators confirmed it. Even if I were to vote otherwise, the other moderators would outweigh my decision. That is how my administration will always function.

Nah, bannings will be very, very rare. Taking away sig, avatar, thread making, etc privlieges will be how my rules work with most rule breaking. And I doubt I will ever have to step in. Rules will be posted by Eagle at the ennd of the week.

Eagle stated he had the right to remove any candidate at anytime. Did nobody expect him to remove Argos at some point?

He could have removed Argos as soon as he declared his intention to run, but I'm guessing he just wanted everyone to be able to vote for their candidate in the nomination round before taking action against anybody.

So, I think he should have been DQed, but before the nomination round voting began. After the declare your intention to run deadline had passed would have been better I think.

I believe Argos can control himself and will be a very approachable moderator. As I've said...we share similar ideas about the amount of "police-ing" to do around here...and we've complimented each others' ideas in the past.

Finally, I'm sick of it going around that I "put him" on my team to "get his votes." This was Magnus' idea, not mine. MadGez, Zingaling, and Christian also liked the idea. That would be 4 of the 5 mods (xiayun didn't vote).

And of course I wanted Argos to be allowed to run. I PM'd him immediately after seeing Eagle's decision.

Of course I can see why some would be upset, this could have been a 3 person race if those voters had known.

I don't approve of waiting until after the first round of voting to eliminate, Argos. I doub't anyone does. He should have been eliminated after the declare your intention to run had passed. But since that wasn't the case obviously, I still have to agree with eliminating him at the wrong time since it's still eliminating him. It was just handled wrongly I felt, but the right decision being made in the end.
