it's total bs that Ray beat Green Day and Kanye for album of the year, but that's what the grammys are. If you're dead or jusr performed, chances are you'll get a grammy.
WTF at Daughters, honestly. That song came out like 2 weeks ago. Oh well, Mayer's cool, even though he sucks as a musician.

The Grammy's just love John Mayer and his crap songs.
That's two Grammy's his won for shitty songs!
note: I do actualyl like John Mayer, but "Daughters" and "Your Body is a Wonderland" are both terrible songs.

But it WAS the worst win of the night, though not too surprising, it's complete Grammy-bait.
Every other song nominated was better. Alicia should have won.
Matatonio---you forgot Norah Jones, I think. she won three awards.
Best win of the night: Loretta Lynn wins country album of the year---though she sohuld have won song and vocal female performance too.
Though overall Honestly this is the best Grammys I've ever seen. The wins were very good, much better than they have been in the past, but the performances! Alicia, Melissa. Wow.

Typical Grammys - award popularity over quality. I don't understand why people even bother with this show.

If you didn't like it, too bad

I have a strong disdain for Usher. Ray Charles winning 8 Grammys? Okay.
Best wins: U2's wins, Lord of the Rings' wins, Bruce Springsteen's win.

Worst Grammy's I have ever seen...
I mean, this was pretty much just a tribute to all the old bands/dead people, no offence
I mean, come on, what is with some of Ray's wins, ridiculous
And U2 over Green Day??? Yeah, just like I said, a tribute to old bands... ugh
I want a quality show next year... Rock needs to be revitalized

At least Green Day didn;t go home empty handing. Still, you'd think Ray Charles could've shared the wealth a little.

Im so sick of that crap(usher, kanye) blah

Kanye deserved what he won (if he had been nominated for rap performance for jesus walks instead of through the wire, he would have deserved that too). I personally liked Jay-Z's album better, but College Dropout is a close second.
He was equally deserving of the best new artist award too.
however, I honestly don't like him very much after his immature tantrum a couple of months ago, which makes me not root for him very much.
But what I'm trying to say is if it's quality we're talking about, then I think he was one of the more deserving people this year. I do think Green DAy should have won more (including rock song of the year) but U2's not a bad choice.
Same with Britney, Kylie was more deserving, Britney's not bad.
Zach Braff the Grammy winnner...who would have thought

Congrats to Loretta Lynn, who gave the best speech of the night, imo. I'm glad she won two! Probably should've won three more, but that's alright.

Britney Spears deserved "Toxic" to win that grammy - its by far the best song in 2004.
HOWEVER, apparently, the producers Bloodshy and Avant want to make it clear that whilst the song featured Britney's vocals, it was the song that won the grammy, therfore it will go to them, NOT miss spears.
So she only kind of won the grammy.
Rod what are you talking about - Kylie Minogues only good song for like 2 years has been "I Believe In You"
Kanye West is over-rated. His musics good, hes a good producer, but his lyrics are childlike and his voice isn't suited to the genre at all.
