Re: WoKJ Admin Election - Admin Finalists Revealed!!!!
Considering the horrible staff team of the last year, which dumbshit Eagle had a hand in choosing, with all the massive board problems we've been having the last six weeks, and all the other massive amounts of re-re shit that's occurred, it's no surprise Eagle does all this shit like removing Argos after allowing him to acquire a ton of votes that could've gone to MikeQ., therefore Eagle allowed MikeQ's elimination. It's just a bunch of re-re shit.
This election has been the dumbest shit I've heard of since the day Eagle posted about it, but it's no surprise because as we all should know by now, Eagle is autistic.

To be fair, MikeQ would've made this round had people who had MikeQ. signatures (harry, Raffiki) actually voted for him.
If yours had been counted (I agree, that sucks), plus those two, that would've been 16. 1 more than Corpse and Argos.

I mean...they did have a week to vote.
Plus Box had both torrino/MikeQ. signatures. Since you were keeping tally (and it clearly showed me comfortably ahead), he too could've submit a vote for Mike to try and make sure he'd make this round.

I strongly feel MikeQ should replace Argos based on the rules that Eagle himself put. MikeQ was close enough to deserve the spot.
Korrgan's vote should have been counted though I dont understand why he could not post like others. If you are serious about supporting the candidate just try to avoid any reason for the vote to be disqualified.

Yup. seems like MikeQ lost alot of possible votes. Plus Libs debated on the site about her choice of you and MikeQ. Anyway, guess that is life. Maybe MikeQ low profile didn't keep everyone riled up enough and some forgot to vote for him.

Because Eagle said nothing about color. He said post the name exactly as it is, which I did. "To nominate a candidate, please make ONE and ONLY ONE post containing ONLY their username." His re-re highness said nothing about not being allowed to post the name in color. It's not my fault he's retarded, but I should've known so considering the past shit he's allowed.

Shouldn't colored posters be allowed the same rights as non-colored posters!?!?

Anyway, rules should have said no fonts then and still deserved a PM like was done to someone in the past. Sure glad it wasn't a deciding vote.

Re: WoKJ Admin Election - Admin Finalists Revealed!!!!
So there is still a group that hates me due to personal reasons, or actions I took several years ago.
I gave up caring about forum relationships a long time ago, so someone still holding a grudge, or bringing up past situations doesn't bother me at all anymore. If you want to vote against me, because you don't like me, go ahead. That's a far better way than complaining about it over and over, and bringing up old situations that died a long time ago. I've changed a lot since any of that, but if anyone still feels they can't vote for me because of things in the past, or something I said or did, okay. I wish you'd reconsider and think about it, read the few things Ive mentioned that I want to do instead and vote on the here and now, but I'm not going to go around begging for another chance.
I would like to win this election because I still feel I can change it far more than torri can, who I see simply tweaking the rules WOKJ has had since the beginning and will appear as a good step for a few months.
And I'm not going to go around telling posters I will give them a mod position (I have contacted a couple I had in mind from the beginning though of course) if they consider voting for me which has been done by others. You shouldn't feel the need to vote for me because I'd give you a mod position, I want you to vote for me because you believe I can really change the forum and take in an entirely new direction. I've cared about doing this for over a year here, not just when a power position opened up.
And thanks to everyone who voted for me. I didn't think I'd make it into the final 3 (2), and considered dropping a few times, but my nature and seeing an open opportunity to win changed that, just like the ones who began voting for me. Thanks, and I hope you'll continue supporting me as I reveal more of my ideas, and I hope the ones of you who are now undecided by the negativeness going on or before, look into what I'd like to accomplish here. Thanks.

Re: WoKJ Admin Election - Admin Finalists Revealed!!!!
I was meaning everything in general.
And yes, but I don't understand why that is a concern to anyone really. Would it have mattered what my gender was? I suppose it was because I lied, but this is the internet. Nearly everyone has at some point. I won't use that as an excuse however, and I think I have explained why I did so many times before. But anyone who thinks that because I lied about that, so I'll probably end up lying about something if I was an admin of the site, is understandable if that's truly what they are thinking. And I'd be just fine with talking to them about it.

Re: WoKJ Admin Election - Admin Finalists Revealed!!!!
Corpse, more importantly: What are your revolutionary plans for the forum? This seems like a lot of talk. All that I saw in your platform post was a bunch of free-flowing BS about how mods should be "active" and "visible," how mods need to be younger, and how you plan on posting administrative decisions in "The Site." Oh, and you want holiday themes (which doesn't really repair day-to-day problems, like harassment and the such). One of the questions you barely answered (the first).
BTW, I think you owe it to WoKJ to reveal your moderating choices.

Alienating the core of KJ is not a good idea.

I have not decided on a moderating team, a finished one that is. Since I am not going about it like one normally does. I'll post the details later today, but I've decided however there will be different types.

KJ is like Iran anyway the true power will lay with ClericNebs I'll give torrino my vote in the run off since I pretty much said he'll get it if Field Marshall Argos was captured. Corpse isn't a bad choice either though, personal history aside I have no problem him now, I'm sure he'd do a solid job.

I'd love to see torrino and Corpse fight in the famous 'Stump and Debate' thread, where any evidence of my candidacy has already been wiped out.

Either way, I came here just after the corpse=vagina fiasco apparently, but I don't see how that constitutes a deciding factor for your vote. Sure, it's a little concerning that he was lying about his gender half a year ago, but does the importance of 1 small fact such as that hold a candle to his platforms, ideas, and plans. Right now it looks like its boiling down to Torrino: has a more thought out platform, stronger guidlines and better structuring on rules and behavior in the forum. Corpse: brings fresh ideas and innovation, wants to attract new members rather than appeal only to the 2004 faithfuls. It's a tough choice for me being a new member who wants to be more welcoming and kind to new members, but I really like Torrino's platforms and the attitude he has taken towards his campaign. The 1 thing I do care strongly about is that the election isn't decided because a group of reactionaries can't get over a few personal grudges that should be largely irrelevant to this process.

Well this is a business. And every business knows it is easier to keep old customers/members rather than alienate them and go after new ones.
