 Just face it Clive...
Mr. Owen.
You were grown in a test tube with the perfect DNA, style and class to play James Bond.
Don't deny it. Brosnan couldn't!

Dont make me laugh. Clive Owen is no Bond. Hopefully they'll stop making the embarassments now....and give Britian some room for more original ideas, instead of mocking the British heritage.

*YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY*
OMG I so agree ever since his role in Gosfold Park where he grabs her and kisses her sealed the deal. I've loved him since Croupier and he even played an assassin already in Bourne. What is not to love about this guy as the next Bond. It is the match made in heaven. I just saw Closer and he was the best thing in it. He has this mix of blunt pragmatism and suave that is just a must for Bond. I want a return to the methodical emotionless gunshots, I want a man who can sneer and smirk almost simultaneously. I want Clive Own to be the next James Bond.

If they still are going to make Bonds, then i would suggest Sean Bean. But they buggered that up with him being in Goldeneye, argh!
Clive Owen doesnt want to be typecast you see, and that is what Bond films do to you.

I'm sure people were hesistant when Brosnan was picked for the Bond role, and a decade later, we don't want him to leave...

UGH, ew. Colin Farrell would be absolutely abysmal.
Clive Owen is perfect, if you ask me.

Clive Owen is perfect, but I don't want him to do it. It'd be a shame for such a great actor to be confined in such a generic series of movies.
Seriously, folks - the Bond films suck now.

I can deny it.
Clive Owen is not James Bond. Ioan Gruffudd is.

Nobody that still wanted Bond films to be made (just like some don't want them made now) was hesitant about Brosnan. NOBODY.
Since A View To A Kill it was expected that Brosnan would eventually become Bond.

If Clive Owen is the next bond, that will end the greatest movie franchise in history

Well, he seems to have a slight cleft chin, although that could be my imagination. Both George Lazenby and Timothy Dalton had cleft chins, so that's a bad omen. Here's a picture of Owen and the guy I would prefer standing together for a picture, with Keira Knightley in between them.
