The family that preys remains one of the highest rated movies at yahoo, just like most of Tyler Perry's films. While I thought it seemed unusual at first, it's as big as SW among its specific audience, so it makes sense that WOM must be that good with the demographic.

An American Carol probably is getting a lot of fake "F" reviews from people like Libs.

How to Lose Friends could flop worse than any other movie out, which would be a surprise considering no one picked it in the poll for the lowest-grossing new release.

Quarantine looks good, while Body of Lies, just as what pre-sale and crowd reports have suggested, is not.

Body of Lies' marketing just wasn't good enough, it looked generic all the way through. With that being said, getting like 12 mil would be a huge, huge bomb. Crowe + Scott with AG's success last year along with Dicaprio coming off Departed and Blood Diamond, combined with a big marketing campaign and 70 mil budget, making 12 mil OW, would be a sure thing for at least honorable mention on Lecter's disappointment list. The combination of Proud American, The Lucky Ones, and this, proves people REALLY don't care about any movies related to the war on terror.

I also think this shows just how much of a beast Denzel Washington is. Him and Smith are definitely the only two dramatic draws right now. The most popular music is rap... the most popular athlete is Tiger... the most popular athletic merch. figure in general is probably still Jordan... the president will soon be Obama... Funny how fast things change in 50 years.

^ That's such an ignorant statement. Maybe for America the most popular is what you have stated but I doubt it is for the rest of the world. Also worldwide Denzel is nothing compared to Smith even if Denzel is a better actor.
