Can't really rate them as I tend to forget a lot.
Offf the top of my head, I think First Contact was my favorite one. I've never seen 2 and 3 though.
First Contact - Great film
Insurrection - Not memorable at all.
Nemesis - Not bad. ALways thought it was decent.
Generations - Good transition. Never liked the idea of Data having that chip though.
Motion Picture: Decent
The Voyage Home: Good entertaining film
Final Frontier - Not memorable
The Undiscovered Country - Great stuff.

Don't remember every single one, just that First Contact is my favorite, Final Frontier is awful and Insurrection and Nemesis are okay.

Because it is just a solid sci-fi adventure film. That it takes place in the Star Trek universe is *almost* besides the point.

02 Wrath of Khan - the performances, emotion, etc. Wrath of Khan has it all
08 First Contact - Great performances by the primary cast, and excellent Krige and Woodard. Contains one of the best scenes in all of Star Trek, when Woodard and Stewart on the on the Enterprise and she is questioning his 24th Century ideals.
01 The Motion Picture - Missed, I think, by the fact that almost every single other film has much more action. The Motion Picture remains the most true sci-fi story in the Star Trek Universe. It also the only film where the crew actually "explores" a new environment.
06 The Undiscovered Country - This one hasn't aged as well, and is a little preachy, but was a great return to form. Christopher Plumber is excellent here. This is a good story which shows off Roddenberry's sense of optimism. DeForest Kelly is particularly strong in this entry.
04 The Voyage Home - Voyage Home is the most humorous. I loved it for Sulu/Spock/Scotty ("there be whales!") and Uhura/Chekov, but Kirk and the love interest wore on me. I also don't like the ending too much with the hall of aliens. I thought the ending was a weak way to end the Star Trek "trilogy".
03 The Search for Spock - Guilty pleasure. Not particularly great, especially on the scenes with Earth. It has not aged well. Christopher Lloyd alternates between being fantastic and being too over the top, but when they blow up the Enterprise... man that's annoying. This one has the best score.
07 Generations - The main thing about Generations is they blow up the Enterprise (see Search for Spock!) which was still kind of shocking one movie into The Next Generation franchise. I don't like the emotion chip either, and the "ribbon" idea was waaaaaay too difficult to work with. Malcolm McDowell is excellent, and the opening with the Enterprise B is one of the better openings.
10 Nemesis - This one wasn't great, and squandered some excellent opportunities. They had an opportunity to really make an emotional impact by killing off a main character, but they basically undid it at the end, they had an opportunity for The Next Generation to go off in a much more grand and fitting way, yet they competely failed. Disappointing and awkward.
05 The Final Frontier - My favorite parts of The Final Frontier is the beginning portion. The idea of a religion in Star Trek is not often handled the way it is in other sci-fi shows, so it was nice to see it brought into the picture a bit. The Paradise sections of the film are very fun and engaging, but I never understood the mechanics of the "brainwashing" that goes on and the whole section on the planet with "God" feels silly. Good ideas but flawed execution.
09 Insurrection - It's just not interesting. If you are going to do a multi-tens of millions of dollar Star Trek film you must have something more "grand" to say than anything in Insurrection. Even the title alludes to a film more dangerous and challenging than what made it to the screen. At the beginning of the film, Picard is talking about all the threats they have in the galaxy at the moment (Romulans! Dominion! Borg!) and it would have been better to spend time dealing with those rather than a small local problem.

Wrath of Kahn for the original cast
First Contact for the Next Generation.
Then I would put Voyage Home, Generations, Undiscovered Country up there as solid entries
As good I would put TMP, Nemesis and Search for Spock
As the worst of the series, though still not horrible Id put Insurrection and Final Frontier.

Good: There's the "Genesis" Trilogy (2-4), First Contact and some of Insurrection. The rest blow.

Though I rated it #1 for many reasons, I would have still done so if it only consisted of that one scene with Scotty and the circa 1986 computer...

1. The Voyage Home
2. The Wrath of Kahn
3. The Motion Picture
4. Generations
5. First Contact
6. Nemesis
7. The Search for Spock
8. The Undiscovered Country
9. The Final Frontier
10. Inusrrection
I like 1-8. Final Frontier wasn't awful, but just awkward. As for Insurrection, it was just flat out boring.
The only thing keeping Kahn from the top is the lacking of Jerry Goldsmith's theme.

I've only seen Voyage Home, Generations, First Contact, and Nemesis, and First Contact is by far the best. Voyage Home is entertaining, but I never was that big a fan of the original series, Generations, to me, was a far too gimmicky way of putting Kirk and Picard together, and Nemesis was mediocre at best. Not to mention that First Contact is awesome.

I will take the original cast any day. How can you beat Shatner and Nimoy? The original cast had the best movies.

I'm going to try to reset the poll to include the reboot, so here are the previous results to date, in case they get deleted... Quote: Which is the best Star Trek movie? #1 The Motion Picture 16% [ 3 ] x #2 The Wrath of Khan 38% [ 7 ] #3 The Search for Spock 0% [ 0 ] #4 The Voyage Home 22% [ 4 ] #5 The Final Frontier 0% [ 0 ] #6 The Undiscovered Country 0% [ 0 ] #7 Generations 0% [ 0 ] #8 First Contact 22% [ 4 ] #9 Insurrection 0% [ 0 ] #10 Nemesis 0% [ 0 ] Total votes : 18

Fuck the rest. GENERATIONS shouldn't even be on this list for as crappy a movie as it was.. What a lame way to kill off Captain Kirk when you look at the new TREK movie, wouldn't you say?? Shouldn't Kirk for as daring as he was had a much more honorable death and villain to match in a fight than he did in GENERATIONS?? I mean a goddamn bridge fell on him for heaven sakes!!

Re: Rank the Star Trek Movies
1. The Wrath of Khan (A-) 2. First Contact (A-) 3. Generations (B+) 4. The Undiscovered Country (B+) 5. The Voyage Home (B) 6. Star Trek (B-) 7. Nemesis (B-) 8. The Search for Spock (B-) 9. Insurrection (C+) 10. The Final Frontier (C+) 11. The Motion Picture (C-)
Enjoyed them all in some form or another except for "The Motionless Picture", which I really wasn't that horrible, mainly boring. As a kid, I grew up with the Generations crew and really liked most of them, but as I began to re-watch the older ones, they grew on me. I think my list is pretty well mixed even if Nemisis is a bit high, but I remember enjoying it for the most part.
