comments/posts summarized so far... 7 here....most have suggested improvements but few have said to stop the threads/polls..

and 7 is a far reach from the 5800 members registered on KJ...so we need lots more input.

Sam - just limit the number of responses to the polls.
be.redy - I find the polls annoying. Most of them have no warrant at all. ( but no comment yet on the treads)
El Murato - Some of the polls are ok
John Savage - I don't really mind the concept, but there are too many, some of which are far to general, and most have little purpose. And not every thread needs a poll.
Dr. Lecter - Yes, less of these, please. ( Less but not none?)
billybobwashere - make them less frequent
Bradley Witherberry - these polls must stop ( but again what about the threads )

just limit the number of responses to the polls. you don't need to have an option for every possible scenario. i would think 5 tops.

and how about the above thread questions, you know in addition to the poll questions, people can post their very own comments and the polls can be ignored.

Ok, I can do that.

Some of the polls are ok but not the ones that split off into so many subcatagories of just one movie. Star Trek example had like 2 or 3 polls like the former two catagories. Neither do I like polls that are way too general "Whats your favorite movie?".

Well glad you admitted some of my polls are OK and maybe the ones that you don't like are liked by others. See I like to keep everyone happy.

Basically I agree with what nebs and murato said in "the site" the polls aren't really a problem just have less and don't bump them 24/7

Had to delete the poll as some or maybe just trouble makers or even Double Accounts were not following the simple instructions of the poll.

Just goes to show that some people here can't even follow the simple polls.

make them less frequent, and make the choices more general for the ones you do (when there are six options for someone who wants to see Star Trek, it kills the point of having a poll)

...FTR, the poll was overwhelming in favor of no more polls from Grill before it was deleted by Grill.

Imho, this deletion is exactly the reason these polls must stop.

You erased the polls because you didnt like the results. Thats why you mentioned double accounts and then gave a justification that people didnt care about the polls. Im this close to putting this thread up in the site forum which is where its supposed to be. You also are ignoring the advice people are giving you again by justifying people dont care
