The rules said president not presidents so I think that Zing and Torrino would run against each other. Besides Nebs still has his admin position secured although he wont be making any decisions

And I would make sure that Nebs remains admin and assumes even more power. But I would get rid of you. Mods need to be literate under the Z&T administration.

Argos, I like you enough that Zingy and I would consider having you on our cabinet.
Roid, now...never. I honestly don't know why you're a mod?

Re: WoKJ Admin Election - Help Create the Process
Few comments on the discussion taking place:
Neb's position is not negotiable, nor will the new President have any authority to impact it in any way. He is essentially remaining on as a technical admin, consultant, helper and liaison to the owners, as described in the initial post. This removes him from the ability to become a mod, run for president, or hold any kind of additional power under an administration so long as he holds his position.
Also, as Roid mentioned, there can not be two Presidents. Zing and Torri would both be welcome to throw their names into the nomination period, and should either make it through, that person would be running for president. If either is elected, there would be no problem with the other becoming a super moderator, as the power of people under the president is totally up to the discretion of the president. However, the other could not and would not gain admin rights, only the President will get that title.
In addition, if anyone has any suggestions to improve the overall process, I'd love to hear them.

Re: WoKJ Admin Election - Help Create the Process
Something I would do is make it a requirement that the mods not be hidden users. And it should be expected of them be visible to the members in case they have any questions, concerns, etc. This is helpful for new users, something the site lacks, but seeing mods on should also be expected by the users, especially any new users. If they get slammed with PMs, that's part of being a mod. Don't wanna respond to them, or receive them, why do you want to be a mod in the first place? I doubt the dudes I have in mind would mind.

Re: WoKJ Admin Election - Help Create the Process
So what will happen if the new staff has a jujubee-style admin/moderator? Meaning they go light on their friends and are especially hard on those they dislike.

Re: WoKJ Admin Election - Help Create the Process
In the end, any admin will be held accountable by Loyal and I, they are expected to be fair, it's their duty to uphold the rules of the forum. I don't forsee us having much interaction in that way with the new administration, but should the need arise we always withhold the right to do as we see fit.
