Re: What to do in Orlando besides Disney n Universal? Sea World is pretty amazing, I hear. And Busch Gardens is just like an hour and a half away in Tampa. Or you can drive to the coast and see the Atlantic Ocean and spend a day at the beach.
Those are all things we're doing when we go to Orlando this year. Last year we went and only went to Disney World and Typhoon Lagoon, and we drove to Cape Canaveral and watched them launch a space shuttle into space when we heard they were launching one at the Kennedy Space Center. There was like this huge black smoke cloud left for hours afterwards that you could see so clearly all the way back at Orlando when we got back to our Disney resort.

Re: What to do in Orlando besides Disney n Universal? downtown disney was the only good part about disney; and mgm. epcot and animal kingdom were huge wastes. I greatly preferred universal back when I used to go there, but then again, that was when it still had kong, et, back to the future, hitchcock, ect. so it was more fun. Now...theyve removed so many of their classic rides that it would just be a bore. That musta been spring 2003, as they were advertising 2F2F and the Hulk.
cocoa beach is nice and busch gardens in tampa is great; be sure to hit up tidal wave and motumbo*.

Re: What to do in Orlando besides Disney n Universal? Animal Kingdom is the worst park at Disney. The only ride worth riding is Dinosaur. Epcot and Hollywood Studios have their good points and bad points.

Re: What to do in Orlando besides Disney n Universal? SeaWorld is pretty good. Might be better to save that for another trip when Manta, the new flying coaster, is open (it opens next month). It's gonna be awesome.
EPCOT is great, personally my favorite of them all. I go there often to chill. There's a lot to do and see, plus you've got the alcohol flowing around the World Showcase (Rose & Crown Pub in the UK is great).
There's also plenty of shopping with the outlet stores and malls. The nightlife isn't too hot (thank you Disney for closing Pleasure Island) outside of downtown Orlando and Universal CityWalk. Old Town in Kissimmee can be fun in the evenings - interesting shops, bars, go-karts, etc.

T2 I'd say I'd probably have to agree with that exact order, although I might even put Jaws (as lame as it is today) ahead of Shrek 4D. Shrek was extremely disappointing after all the build-up they created.
