Tony's dog (in dryer lint) wins an award!
As you may know, my wife makes art out of dryer lint. Seriously, it sells at galleries and she makes good money doing so. (see http://heidihooper.com) She looked over my shoulder once when I was here and said "Hey, that's a great picture!" and had me print out Tony's avatar. Here she is working on her latest piece:

That's pretty neat!! At first I thought you were gonna talk about some dog that got stuck in the dryer lint trap.

Hey, that looks cool!
You should take a more straight-up photo of it, so Tony can put it up as his avatar!

So do you guys dry your clothes by color? Or have some other method?

And, believe it or not, she has fans who have bought her work all over the country who actually send her lint when they get something colorful.

Re: Tony's dog in dryer lint
I've been to art galleries all over the world (the wife is an art teacher), and I must say that's one of the finest works I have ever seen. Amazing that she can do so well with dryer lint, when I can't even draw with traditional art tools. It looks pretty close to the original pic: My dog will be happy that she touched it up by taking out the spit and grass on his ginormous tongue. He's pretty vain.

Re: Tony's dog in dryer lint
We're taking it to the Lunacon science fiction convention in NY this weekend where she's a guest artist and doing a slideshow of her work. I'll let you know if it sells!

Re: Tony's dog (in dryer lint) wins an award!
Heidi entered eight dryer lint pieces in the Art Show competition at the Lunacon Science Fiction convention this past weekend (where she was a guest artist and did a slide show of her work) and of all the new work, "Tony's Dog" was the one that won the "Judge's Choice" ribbon!
